A "Thank You" To TES Team Thread.

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 6:53 pm

Well, the Story goes; I was having a shower. While in the shower, I was thinking of all the threads I've seen through the past few months and how you can categorise the threads, such as: Spears, Vampires, Werewolves, Dawnguard, Magic System, Ect. Ect.
And the list goes on.
But everyone's more or less talking about the same thing, or wanting something from the Elder Scrolls team, or something adjusted, whatever.
So, I decided the Perfect thread. The Ultimatum of all threads. (Just a slight exaggeration :sweat:)
Why not just have a "Thank You" thread for the Elder scrolls Team?
Instead of Nagging and Moaning for one thing or anither, why not just have one where we can appreciate them for what they've already done and accomplished?

Well, here it is now. :clap:

And the simple Rule of the thread is, and the main Goal of the thread is, is to get everyone in the Elder Scrolls Forums to say a mere, "Thank You".

I'm not saying this will make a massive difference, but maybe it will be appreciated.

So just to start;

:thanks: & :tes:

And also, "Thank You" all who participate. :thumbsup:

I tend to thank them through purchasing every ES game and bit of DLC (EVEN HORSE ARMOR). As well as Fallout stuff. As well as any ES or Fallout themes/gamer pics/avatar items etc. etc. etc.

Bethesda don't deserve any thanks. They're not a damn charity, they don't want to help you, they want your money and with the minimum effort.

There's no need to make sure that the disappointed playerbase don't hurt Bethesda's precious feelings.

Minimum effort......... I would highly disagree.

How does the game lack depth. It's far deeper than a lot of mainstream games. Sure it's been streamlined, as most games are these days, it's just what earns money. However I've spent hundereds of hours in Skyrim and will very likely spend hundereds more.

Yes, thank you Bethesda. Skyrim may have its fair share of issues but I've still loved every minute I've spent on it. Except for the dragons. I'd turn them off now if I could after killing over 100 of them.

One of the few games I can say I have played just about daily for 7 months, and on xbox to boot, so no mods. Skyrims easily one of the best games I've played.

Yes but I echo the point about the dragons. They're fast depleting game worlds of NPC's. I like NPC's. Please fix this Bethesda.

That's one good way of kissing the ass... what you hoping for BETA?

i'm sorry if this sounds harsh but the amount of these topics or even reply to topics that revolve around "thanks bethesda" "i love bethesda" simply annoy me when last week they were slating them off for having bugs and glitches in there games!

I'm just wary now that every single thanks on these forums is for a beta and well if it's not even intended for that then i actually applaud you because you're one of the good guys and have my sincere apology on this reply but i just thought i'd let my thoughts out.

Thanx bethesda, both for ES and Fallout, great games.
Oblivion was actually the first game of my "gaming" era I guess...
Remember making my first character a dark elf and having all the daedric artifacts >:D
Especially thanx for that game!

Thanks, but isn't giving ideas how the game COULD be better show you care about the game? In a sense? Which would mean caring would be a higher level of gratitude then thankful wouldn't it?

The Rules of this thread were to say, "Thank You".
This isn't a thread for anything other than that. So to Everyone and Anyone who Plans on putting anything else other than a "Thank You" can look the other way and paint a Target on another thread.

For everyone else to follows the Rules;

"Thank You" :thanks:

If people are seriously kissing ass for beta codes that's just kinda sad.

But the Op has a point in how everyone just complains and makes demands about this game and it's just really pathetic. Obviously the game has problems, but we don't need every topic about it. It's nice for some positive topics once in a while.

I have to agree. While I see nothing wrong with sharing your appreciation, the fact is we all love the TES games, otherwise we wouldn't be here.

And you're timing couldn't have been worse, literally. I'm sorry but this does reek of brown nosing. :/

Oblivion was my first game in the RPG openworld genre. It blew my mind! After comitting hundreds of hours into this game, I felt like there would never be a better game made. I have played more games in this genre, but there is no comparison. Other games don′t even come close. The people at Bethesda are just so good at this kind of game. They have such an eye to detail. So thanks to you people at Bethesda for giving us such amazing games. I wish you all the best in the future.
