THAT IS THE END SERIOUSLY!?

I kind of get it, but at the same time I don't. Why wouldn't he just kill the guy and give her the gold? I mean, it sounds like an enormous abount of hassle to go through to get revenge then REWARD them.

The dlcs is filled with this idea of giving second chances, and letting go of vices. Atleast thats what I got.

Well, I get that, but I mean, why spend millions of dollars on building this vault that kills the guy and she gets rescued by some sort of swat team, when he could just strap them both to a chair and kill the guy and tell his Ex 'You broke my heart, but I'm going to secure your future, take the gold and go'

I don't know, it just seems weird to go through that much hassle for something so simple.

I think its because they was at war at the time so he wanted her to be safe when the bombs dropped its like he knew it was coming. plus if not it would have just looked like an accident after all a security system was put in place to keep thieves out so yeah. and hes only giving her the gold because he loves her and the casino was supposed to be a gift to her or was based on her i think. its really hard to say from just one play through but to be honest im not too bothered about playing it again.

So, a DLC is only worth if you get a reward at the end of the game?

Well I like a DLC with loot and a story. If its just high end loot, it just feels empty in the end. :sadvaultboy:

No,not at all, what i mean is whats the point in a dlc adding all new content and stuff just to be used for around 3-4 hours seems rather pointless.

You have a good point. It's like not being able to revisit Op Anch, make it so we gain no experience, but its always fun to return to the DLC

At least that the devs thinks another ways to add new stuff to the game, the DLC s are the only way to do it,

The BAR was just enough for me :^P

*Spoilers*

Your not supposed to read "Sinclair's personal accounts". You'll be locked in forever. That was meant for Dean. Happened to me the first few times aswell.

No. Elijah will contact you and you'll have to defeat him. Just read the letter to Vera

Haha. I guess so.

It says in the letter that Sinclairs personal account was meant for Dean and is designed to lock you in as revenge (I guess).

Ok im going to tag this. Its why the madre was built.
Spoiler
the madre was built because he wanted to protect them woman he loved. He predicted the war and made a fortress disuised as a casino. The madre chips can be converted inot food, clothes, chemst, anyhting, so he always had supplies. The security was to stop attackers from entering and hurtning anyone, they cant be damaged, and they can kill, makes them perfect. The cloud you see also part of the plan, it preserved the madre, and the technology, all allowing the madre to rebuild, give life a second chance after the war. The vault was just to kill the other thief not the woman he loved, he says this to in messages, and later tried todisable the trap, but couldnt. So basicvally the madre isnt just a tool for revenge, shelter, factory, fortress its everything needed to protect her and rebuild the world after the war. Its like the lucky 38 really, just less about preserving one man. Oh and the gold was there so he could trade after the war was over. the madre creates and destroys countries.
Thats how I saw it anyway. I hope that answers why he went to all the trouble instead of just killing them. All though I think I wandered off a bit, but that covers everything about the buildiing. I can see why he went through so much effort.

Thats actually a pretty good idea. Though I cant question the validity of this (PS3) it makes sense, but what about the Ghost People though? Couldn't they have killed her?

Yep, I found his work more impressive than the lucky 38 tbh, and that was impressive.
I am not sure what happened to the people the woman is dead, I think she ODd or she was trapped in her room. They didnt die together, or rebuild, I guess that was due to the bombs hitting just a bit to soon. The ghost people werent always there remember, I am not %100 sure of thier origin, I know there were tterminals speaking about how the workers had to wear suits due to that cloud, and they struggled to get them off. And the cloud goes past suits. I assume this means the ghost people are the remanents of the people at the casino, stuck in the suits while the could still mutates them... All speculation, but they wouldnt have to worry about the ghost people. Which is funny, because if the ghost people are from the casino and slowly driven mad, then I suppose they have rebuilt, in a twisted way, they obviously have a home, and have survived.

Anyway one thing I ldisliked is the talk of the divide. WTF ? It made no sense, but will likely be a dlc, as I remember seeing "a sign of things to come" when they mentioned things like the big empty. Meaning more dlc I think. But the divide thing just confused me.

Lots of things.
For me dean was hinted at going off to rob vegas. Dog/god went around killing people and eating them. The other girl stayed behind to gaurd the place and talked about how two couriers would fight eachother at the dge of the world.

Woah ho ho, So Deans an Oceans Eleven style fellow? I like him more and more. :disguise:

I don't really care aboud Dog/God, or the girl. I just want to know what happened to Dean (done) and what the fate of Sierra Madre are.

Deans slide says abut how he was saddend at the vault, but didnt know why. He set out to vegas knowing about it having lots of casinos. Judging by the tone not to eentertain but the guy loves robbing people it seems.
The madre remained, the cloud remained, the girl stayed there to gaurd it, and the ghost people just treted her like a hologram and ignored her. Nothing really changed.

Interesting, I wonder why they treated the woman like she was one of them. :unsure2:

I hope one day I can post here without seeing crap like this.
It ends get over it.
Fallout 3 had a crap ending because people [censored]ed, resulting in the shallow cop out that is broken steel, nice I can call it BS.
Besides the game warned you, your fault, now can people stop [censored]ing, also this is dlc, yyour [censored]ing about the4 game, god nothing is right about that post.

game endings are stupid and not very rewarding. playing the game is rewarding, looking at slides for 5 minutes is not rewarding and i got news for you but elder scrolls games and even fallout games do not end like new vegas ended, so get a clue. oblviion blew new vegas out of the water and it doens't have an ending , the new elder scrolls game will not having an ending like new vegas had, and it will be a good game, most games with "endings" svck. so obsidian needed to get that from FO3. they did make a great game, even though it dind't have the dungeon crawling to do or quite the combat FO3 had, but your idea of a game having to have an ending isn't cutting it, new vegas could of been better if it didn't have that last mission. the game rating is only 7.5 and thats a lot lower than FO3 or oblivion, and mostly ist because of the stupid ending,
