The Companions Quest Bug : V - Skyrim

mnomaha, i didnt understand

Maybe my english isnt perfect, sorry

I mean that I joined the Companions. Then Farkas escorted me to quarters, where a free bed was available. He oferred me to have a rest (sleep) and he didn't offer me a job, But next time i spoke to him there were no quests. All companions tell that I already have a running job from Farkas. There are no notes in diary (only completed previous one). Farkas says me do active job (but what job?!!)

try to sleep!

I think that sleeping is the quest.

Shame on me!
I 've solved the problem.
There was note in my diary "trouble in Skyrim" but I thought it was random quest from any NPCs. 'Cause there was't information who gave me that job.
I read wiki and found that "troubles in Skyrim" are the Companion's quests from radiant AI.

Very happy for you. Can't say I know which quest you're referring to though. There were several like that.

C'mon guys,

still no console code working for this bug...?

(i'm stuck after finishing companions' quests, Vilkas ( so as Farkas and the hunter) is waiting for me to finish a job he never gave me...

Did you look under the Miscellaneous quests. It will be listed there, which is how mutosan solved his problem.

Maybe esacped criminal (which is in my finish quests without the full triangle finish marker) but setstage CR07 250 doesn't do anything, and this quest isn't given by Vilkas

It is given by one of them though. I remember this one. I think it's the other guy, I can't remember his name, but he's older. It is definately a Companions quest.

Let's see..."setstage CR07 200" will finish the quest completely

If you use "setstage CR07 20" It will say you killed the criminal and you will need to go back and speak with the old guy for credit.

i did the 200, that's why he's back.

but that's it. he becomes just another guy telling me to finish vilkas' mission. checked my diairy, the last companions' quest is finished, tellong me i became their chief. no radiant quest unfinished or so

showquesttargets - Shows all current quest IDs, note: Having more than four quest or more may have some quest IDs will be cut off when displayed in console(You can scroll through console using Page Up and Page Down keys on the keyboard).

yep tried this, but none is related to the companions

The only other thing I can think to do is take a screenprint of your quest log and post it here for us to look at.

I need help so bad...please... :sad:

I just finished the quest "Trouble in Skyrim" that Farkas gave me. He wanted me to clear out Southfridge Sanctum and so I did and when I got back and talk to him there's no option that you finished the job. And when you choose "I'm looking for work" option, he tells you that I already have a job running from Aela which I'm already finished. This is quite frustrating coz I really want to finish all quests as much as possible.

I have the exact this happening to me, after the "Halldir's Cairn" quest.
