The Fate of Caesar

I had to kill him because i freed Benny, then once Benny thought he was safe, i shot him in the head (ahh, irony)

Then i did it again to see what happens if Benny survives

The fate of Edward Sallow in my games is to die slowly of the brain tumor in his head, surrounded by mindless unthinking sycophants closer to war dogs than humans, who cannot help him because he banned the very thing he needs to keep alive despite his attempts at hipocrisy via a (malfunctioning) Auto-Doc.

It's both merciful and merciless. TVTropes might call it "cruel mercy".

Karma's a b@^&#, ay "Caesar"?

Somewhat reminds me of how Stalin died.

If only I hadn't killed him back in December, I would love to do this.

Any playthrough I'm not Legion, I kill him. When I am Legion though I let him live, perform surgery to make damn sure he does. That way, the Legion's moral isn't hurt(not sure if it would be) and all is good in the world :D God I love the Legion

My first character never killed Caesar, but only because I never got round to visiting the Fort. I was NCR all the way and presumed I'd get a showdown with Caesar at Hoover Dam but that didn't happen, so I never actually met the guy 'till playthrough two.

Yep same thing here 100% :( .

Second play as Legion I met him, and let him die. He was an abomination of everything the Legion was built up to to my character. He used Tech... he was willing to use chems... he was weak, and none of his guards had the balls to finish him off, and take over, and to top it all off he was spreading lies about Lanius to keep himself safe. The Legion is better off without its archaic creator, and it is time someone led who actually believes in what he is talking about. Ahem >.>

3rd (as Yes man) dropped 8 packs of C4 outside his tent. Walked in they got mad and stormed me. Held out till all was around me at the door. Left the room, ran, counted to 3, and click... BOOM! Body parts went flying, and the left side of screen did not stop flashing crit/cripple messages for 5 minutes. Never did find a piece of Caesar though... dun dun dun...

4th... odds are high what ever Mr. House tells me to do.

My first playthrough and every one since then, Cesar has died by my hands. Even when I did the Legion playthrough I made sure he bit the big one. I have such a hard time supporting the Legion, so I figured with Lanius in charge it would fall apart. In playthroughs since then, every time I put Cesar down, I make sure to put his body in a funny pose. Last time I sat him back in his throne and tried to get Lucious's head to sit on his neck.
