the icy waters of the north

I agree. The seas are far too empty. Come, on, no undersea dungeons or something? No big monsters? Nothing!
There should be at least giant quid, or sea snakes or something.

A couple underwater dungeons to change things up sounds pretty awesome to me and fighting the lochness monster wouldn't be too bad either.

Underwater dungeons in the north....

I'm of the opinion that the water should cause frost damage because it is so cold, but that's me.

i think the idea of the Loch Ness monster is that she's suppose to be in a Loch.. specifically a Loch called Ness

Hmm, far too many underwater related threads today.

Having underwater combat and stuff would be interesting, thought they would have to make a significant amount of water combat opportunities, to make it worthwhile. Bethesda doesnt seem like a giant fan of underwater stuff though.

Still, the giant slaughterfish in oblivion was kinda terrifying :D but thats about it. all other slaughterfish are quite normal if i remember correctly.

I looked vainly in the north for that wrecked boat which might explain
Spoiler
the past of Rune, a member of the Thieves Guild.

Seems like that one was cut and/or incomplete. There is also, frustratingly, an aptly named ship called Orphan's Tear off the coast of Solitude. But no dice.

pun intended.
