The next most anticipated game

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 6:05 pm

Just wondering if the people who cant wait for the skyrim release have similar taste in games, basically what game after skyrim is on your radar as the next game you cant wait to come out so you can play it.

I was keeping a close eye on bioshock infinite but i just recently found out EA is releasing what is supposed to be a followup (i think) of syndicate wars, called syndicate

some gameplay for anyone interested http://www.ea.com/syndicate/1/media#zJY58Kq1UJg

Difficult choice between Mass Effect 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I'm also relatively excited for Syndicate as well.

There are a load of games already out that I need to catch up on first. First two I thought of were Arkham City and Dead Island. I'll definitely get the new GTA and Dishonoured looks like it could be amazing. That new Aliens game looks good too, although maybe a bit too scary for me.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and then Final Fantasy XIII-2 in January next year, unless either Tales of Graces f or Ni no Kuni end up releasing before that.

Since GTAV was just announced, I guess I'm looking forward to that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBCp_rgAkfc looks promising, but I'm a little weary of SoE... Other than those two, I can't think of anything. The video game market has been really dry for me lately. My two most anticipated titles of the past 2 years are about to be out (Battlefield 3 and Skyrim)...

Risen 2.

When is that coming out beside a vague (early?) 2012 guess, anyway? Will it be out for a simultaneous release across all platforms? Will the PS3 version of Risen 2 turn out better than the 360 version of Risen 1? I was considering purchasing it, but I don't really even know much about it beside something open-world, RPG-ish, Pirate-y, being outsourced (for the PS3) to an outside studio, and created by Piranha Bytes/creators of Gothic I-III. I've just heard plenty of poor things about the 360 version of the first one and can only imagine what an even more alien platform would end up with, but they did outsource it. I just don't know how adept the company outsourced to are with the platform either, however.
