So am I the Only one not having any issues with the Game?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 1:37 pm

I made a house in the creation kit and when i fast travel to it, or even sumtimes when i walk there, the house and elements of it disappear, I spent a good 20 minits on making that house:) besides that the game runs great

I stopped having issues on my ps3 after the first patch  . My laptop's issues just come from a dumb@$$ built-in video card. :swear:

No bugs, glitches or crashes from me. Of course I DEFINATLEY do NOT run the game very smoothly but that's my computer's fault not mine. The average person would rage quit if they tried playing Skyrim on my computer, but I'm used to running games with terrible frame rate since I've used this junky laptop for 4 years.

I'm on PC and I haven't got any problem either, probably because I don't use many mods. :)

So far i've gotten only two issues in my game, a damn book titled "cleansing of the fane" that i can't remove from my inventory being a quest item(found it in bleak falls barrow lol) and being unable to get any "looking for work... got any leads" option anymore atm in whiterun hold. nothing else aside from that w/c also makes me feel lucky

If you're trying to get work by asking bartenders and the steward for work and it's not appearing, that probably means you have a bounty target in that hold already. Check your Misc quests and see if there's a giant, bandit leader, or dragon you're supposed to be killing.

Nope, after turning in a bounty quest(kill a giant) to Proventus Avenicci the dialogue option stopped appearing. at first i thought it was because i "cleared" all the possible radiant quest locations in the hold but after a few days and 2 locations re-populating i still didn't get the dialogue option so yeah all i can guess is its bugged.

EDIT: adding to the issues i forgot one thing, a hunter who was looking for a fugitive and indeed found and killed him is stuck in his location lol every-time i visit the area he's still there, i hope this doesnt mean i won't get the encounter anymore ahah

That's a shame, but on the plus side, those bounty missions are hardly worth doing. Kill the dragon... (for 100 gold). What kind of bounty is that? I get a 25 gold bounty for failing a pickpocket. What was the dragon's crime? An overdue library book?

On topic, the only problems I have are the following:

1. Very slight dips in frame rate that happen only rarely
2. Nirnroot glow
3. Bound arrows not always disappearing
4. Brand-Shei not being released
5. The Jeweled Pitcher not appearing in the Thieves Guild Trophy Cases after 75 jobs
6. Shrouded Cowl not showing up masked on male characters
7. Certain weapons and equipment not being upgradable when they should be

If asked to rank those in order of importance (to me) I would say 7, 2, 5, 1, 4, 6, 3. I talk more about the little things than the big though because everyone talks about the big problems, and I think we also need people to focus on the little problems because those probably aren't nearly as hard to fix.

At the beginning, yes. My textures were screwed up(but that was fixed), and my Wood-Elf character's game got broken thanks to the Cidnah Mineuest. But, after 4 patches, I started a Breton Character, and everything is going perfectly. The game LOOKS great, no texture issues at all except some items in inventory taking a little bit to get the texture right. My game runs smoothly, no lag or crashes. And I haven;t run across any broken quests. I THOUGHT I might have had a broken Magic system a few minutes ago, but I was proven incorrect. At this juncture, the game seems perfect. And I'm playing on 360. am I the only one to experience this?

No, i'm also playing an apparently bug free game, and guess what? i don't have my 360 hooked up to the internet so i'm still playing the version released on 11.11.11, i've had a few very minor issues like floating weapons etc but nothing game breaking. The game is awesome.

I had my fair share of bugs on 360. It was no more than a bit frustrating. When the first patch came, nearly all of them were solved. If I regularly delete a number of save games, it works perfectly... and I absolutely LOVE the game. It's the best RPG I've ever played. I happened to like a great open world RPG.

Nice to see there are still others who agree with that.

I know... every forum has its trolls who don't have a real life of their own and who like to criticise everything while they don't even have a fragment of creativity in their soul, but like the bugs in the game: just ignoring them will do fine to keep enjoying the game. :-)

I too, haven't experienced a single gameplay issue with Skyrim in the 100+ hours i've put into it. Granted, i only began playing the game in mid December (so some patches were released before i started) but it has genuinely been one of the best gaming experiences that i've had. Litterally, the only thing i've noticed that isn't correct is the missing wood block texture files (all i see is the normal map on the model) but i hear this is a common issue since the HD texture pack was released). I don't think my game has ever dropped below 60fps with all of the settings are their maximum (with AO).

What a great game :)

I haven't had any game-breaking problems.

Only issue I've had is not being able to Alt+Tab to desktop and if I Ctrl+Alt+Delete to get the desktop I can't get back into Skyrim even when it's still running away in the background and I can still hear the sound effects going on. So if I want to get back to the desktop I actually have to save and close. Not too much of a problem because the game doesn't take long for me to load it back up. Then there was one amusing glitch where some loot that fell to the ground floated up into the sky until it got so small you couldn't see it any more. I had a bit of a chuckle over that.

Besides that I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary.

I hate not being able to ALT TAB out of the game. Everytime I want to check a Wiki, I have to save and exit, instead of just ALT TAB'ing and minimizing the game.

This is the first game I've played since 1982 that this happened with.

Very frustrating.

Forge Epic Ebony
Then go to Enchant it
Carefully pay attention the name and stats when you select the enchantment
Tell me that's not glitched?

Nope, I have had 0 issues from launch day till now. I have logged well over 400 hours into the game, I might of seen a few flying mammoths but that was it. No crash to desk top, no horrible bug that rendered my game unplayble. Skyrim was a pretty smooth and good game for me and I hope it continues to be so. Only problems I have had are with player made mods.

It was the same way with Morrowind and Oblivion. I haven't tried this in Skyrim yet (to be honest I don't alt-tab very often) but in Morrowind and Oblivion it helped to have another program open at the same time. I usually opened notepad.

I was fine for about 200-250 hours. About three months of play. Once the problems started it only got worse. Had to start over at 350+ hours.

Xbox 1.4 patch. I think the noir root but got to boating the saves, mine got up to 19mb.

....however, up until the problems started, I had no issues at all. I loved Skyrim..... No so much now, after all, that time - it feels like a bloody divorce!

I have some issues on my 360 with my big saves but honestly nothing serious enough to derail me from playing. I just fix it up/work around it and move on.

I have random CTDs at times and I had one humorous glitch with Ancano sliding around on the floor, but other than that I have no problems. My PS3 copy, on the other hand... THAT was bugged.

Besides 15 freezes in almost 400 hours of play, I'm in the same boat as well.
