The point of invisibility spell?

If there was spellmaking you could combine invis and muffle.

I don't understand why you just can't cast muffle and invis? That would have the same effect.

Did you never wonder why some of the dungeons with the Falmer are dark, if not almost black as night? They've been blind so long, their other senses are heightened to the point where they don't need to see you.

So, invisibility potions against them are useless.

Sneaking is ok, at a distance. But again, when you get closer to them, it too, becomes useless. Especially when you have a follower who has no sneaking skills, even though they sneak when you do. You might as well hang a sign with an arrow pointing at you, saying, "Here I am."

I think the "blind" concept was interesting, and well built into the game.
