the restoration glitch? :

Did I over do it? Now it says enchanting potions are 1% more powerful.

The potion power number overflows and goes to a lower number. I made a 5838% potion once and the effect went down to 407%. So the overflow point is around there, I think. Highest potion I made that worked was 2473%

Once I made an Elven bow that does 994 damage. Its value was 14178. I made it while wearing 4 pieces of 830% Smithing Enchanted items.

You say 6 pieces of crafting gears... But I count only five with Circlet, Falmer helm, Gloves, Necklace and Ring! What is the 6th one? Thanks for your reply. Of course I'm talking about fort. alch.

2 for the head( fortify alchemy )
Chest/armor/clothing ( fortify smith )
Gauntlets ( fortify smith and alchemy )
Ring ( fortify smith and alchemy )
Necklace ( fortify smith and alchemy )
For a total of 6 pieces of crafting gear  7 if you count the notched pickaxe :twirl:

(read my first post)

Read my post past "weapon damage cap" I said that the number is soOOooo massive that it's just as well to say there is no weapon damage cap  I managed to get one sword to a damage rating of 4billion, I then tried to push beyond this but the damage rating started to show in the red ( negative ) in the weapon inventory menu

Oh I see now what Carrots means by 6 gears. But of course only by having dual enchantment perk. If not 5 gears for fort. alchemy. For fort. smithing: Necklace, ring, gloves, dwarven armor and the Notched Pickaxe equipped. I say darwen armor because of the Ancient Knowledge that helps you increasing blacksmithing.

Have fun but save often!!!! I had sooOOoo many headaches just because I forgot to save as often as I should have, and play around with it until you make the potions at the strength that you want them  I find a one handed sword doing 150 damage, a bow doing 170 damage, and a great sword doing 200 damage with a full set of heavy armor doing 900-1000 armor rating on master difficulty rather entertaining, the fights aren't over in seconds yet I cannot be killed in one hit by a nob wearing fur and wielding an iron mace  Dragons are still a bit of a pain but strategy and use of the surroundings help :bunny:

Yes it's real fun. It permits to explore any cave or dungeon without fear, just rushing straight on the enemies without wasting time sneaking and not needing a follower. My character is always alone and does what he likes. When a bandit cries "I surrender" he leaves him. Even knowing that later the sameone will attack again. But there is a code to respect in fighting... My level 60 brings me ancient dragons mostly and now I realize that my shout Fush Ro Dah is far better than Dragonrend. They land quickly in front of me. Of course I carry a glass war axe with 212 damage and enchanted with Silent moons and Absorb Health 20 pts. But I prefer my dagger and use the axe against the Dwemer machines. I'm afraid to break the dagger like in RL... LOL

Only problem is... is that it's like console command on PC, once you start to use it, it becomes a little bit hard to control yourself and play legit
