It's always nice to see someone so enthused.

All seven stances are coded, but a lot of the effects are bugging out on Alteration - which is weird because I've used virtually all of those effects before. I'm going to spend the rest of today hammering out the bugs, try to get out the new Destruction spells, and then place everything. I... will probably not make a deadline of tonight. But I will try.

Destruction spells! Though, when you release v4, I think you need a break. Coding is exausting, at least from my point of view and past experiences coding really simple stuff. o_o

Also,Trobinson, you look like my best friend... O.o

I will most likely take a few days to chillax, yes.

I think I have the seven stances worked out. I not only bugtested, I kept going back to the drawing board on some of them because I didn't find them suitable. But they're 90% tested out now and I'm pleased with the effects on all of them.

Switching stances resets your charges to zero. They have a maximum of twelve points. Meditating won't increase charges outside of combat. Charges fade after 60 seconds of not being gained or lost. You will glow blue when you have 0-4 charges, golden at 5-11, and with the stance element at 12. Meditation has a nine second cooldown.

UI does not pop up a verbal update except when meditating, losing the stance, or hitting max.

Structure:
Meditation: Increases charge by one, has additional benefit. Six second CD.
Unleash: Press stance while with a full charge. Only usable at six charge.
Power and Bow Attack: Fire Main Power.
Bow Bash + Melee Attack: Adds one.
Spell: Effect on cast.
Passive: Passive perk benefit in this stance.

[Destruction]

Pyroclasmic Might:
Meditation: Recovers 20% Magicka.
Unleash - Prominence: Unleash a 20 ft. AoE knockback. They may take significant damage from falling.
Main Power: Knocks back the target and deals extra damage.
OnSpellCast: Add two charge.
Passive: Fire burns ten times longer.
Book: The Tome of Pyroclasm.

Glacial Serenity:
Meditation: Immune to damage and have 100% Magicka absorb for 1s. 6s CD on the meditation.
Unleash - Frigid: Nearby creatures are disarmed and 25% more vulnerable to frost damage.
Main Power: Slows.
OnSpellCast: Add two charge.
Passive: Slowing effects last four times as long.
Book: The Tome of Glaciers.

Thundering Speed:
Meditation: Places a nest of lightning at your feet. This spark staggers anyone who walks into it.
Unleash - Blitz: Increase Power Attack Damage, Spell Magnitude, and Stamina and Magicka Costs for both by 33% for 6 seconds.
Main Power: Slows time by 40% for 6 seconds.
OnSpellCast: Add two charge.
Passive: Shock spells deal 33% more damage.
Book: The Tome of Thunder.

[Restoration]

Need to change MAXIMUM FX.

Radiant Flash:
Meditation: You recover 15% health. Improves with perks.
Unleash - Miracle: You and nearby allies recover 50% Health immediately. Works with perks. Destroys all nearby undead at 40% health or lower.
Main Power: Turns undead, deals extra damage to all targets.
OnSpellCast: Add two charge.
Passive: Ward spells cost 50% less magicka and knock back the enemy caster. If used with Mirror Ward, magnifies the damage of reflected destruction spells.
Book: The Tome of Radiance.

[Alteration]

Clarity Wave:
Meditation: Reduce the cost of all spells by 50% for four seconds.
Unleash - Transcendence: Become a ghost immune to all damage for six seconds. Affected by perks.
Main Power: Create a singularity that svcks in nearby enemies. Costs six.
Passive: None.
OnSpellCast: Add two charge.
Solitude Lighthouse
Book: The Tome of Clarity.

[Illusion]

Chaos Omen:
Meditation: Immediately casts 4s muffle and invisibility
Unleash - Doom: Living creatures and people within 80 feet are spontaneously filled with dread; if the magical influence is not removed within forty-five seconds, they die of brain failure. Master of the Mind cannot affect this ability.
Main Power: Enrages the target, increasing their swing speed but sharply dropping their movement and magicka. Benefits from perks.
Passive: 10% chance to ignore melee or spell damage. (11 to 20%, to stack with Wind Walker)
OnSpellCast: Regain two charges.
Lake Geir/Geirmunds Hall
Book: The Tome of Chaos.

[Conjuration]

Shadow Self:
Meditation: Does not increase charges. Sets teleport point.
Unleash - Kismet: Teleports you to where you last meditated.
Main Power: Doubles damage, but costs four charges.
Passive: Increases bound weapon damage based on conjuration skill from 34 and higher. Doubles duration of conjuration spells.
OnSpellCast: Regain two charges.
Ritual Stone
Book: The Tome of Shadow.

I like chaos omen. I guess I won't go pure mage again. xD
I think 0-4 charge should be red, it will look better transitioning from red to gold. At least on my head it looks good...

I chose blue because it's rarely used and more likely to stand out. I do prefer red and gold myself. :)

Love this, and it's quite a nice touch to add stories to the tomes.
Though there is one slight problem I'm having, I've located all the restoration tomes except the "Mirror Ward" located at the tower of stendar.
I had not previously been there so I don't know why I wouldn't be able to find it.
So I decided to use the cheater's revenge to obtain it.
When I enter
help "Cheater's Revenge"
as suggested I get an error. I tried other varations but no luck :/

Does it still say "Cheater's Revenge" somewhere? I thought I'd updated all the lines to say 'Debugger'.

My bad. I'll make sure to grab that on the next readme update. Also need to take a stroll over to that tower and see if I can figure out if there's any errors there with the book placement.

I hate to cause more problems but after using "debugger" I obtained all the books once after reading the debugger book except the "Mirrar Ward" book >_<
I checked everything thrice and even entered the debugger code once more, but still no Mirror Ward spell.

Hmm. Are you sure your version is up to date? Because I double-checked the ESP, Debugger's Revenge does include the Mirror Ward spell, and the most recent versions of the readme already refer to Debugger's Revenge.

And no need to apologize, I am sorry you're having trouble!

Just double checked, and wouldn't you guess I downloaded version 3_0 by mistake and didn't grab the 3_1 =_=
My apologies Astral for the waste of time, and thanks for the help I can now finally enjoy this awesome mod ^^

Hey, it happens to everyone. Thanks for being calm about it, I really appreciate it.

Good news, everyone! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IP9PoBlFDp4

All seven stances have been coded and appear to be bug-free. The list posted above is the final effect list. Tomorrow I'll code in some of the destruction spells, write and place all of the tomes for this, go over everything for ASIS compatibility, and then hopefully make an update by evening.

Three days in a row modding for 12-16 hours again. Yeesh!

Sounds familiar!

Even more so if I start digging into Wrye Bash... o.o

As always, I'm keeping an eye on the project but I tend not to comment unless there's something I need to say. :P

Creation Kit just crashed on me, but I am finalizing for a release today - within the next few hours, in fact. However, after taking a harder look at the Destruction Spells ideas I've had floating around, all would require either significantly more investment of time to get working, or aren't really up to my standards. They were pretty much just padding to make it clear that this update cares about Destruction Mages; however, it's always been my policy to focus on quality over quantity, so I will just have to do my best to convey the amount of work that has gone into Destruction even with 'only' three extremely involved spells added to it.

@AtrakFire: there are other magic mods out there that add tons of spells. I'm sure the users that have taken a liking to your mod share the vision that quality > quantity ;)

Well, I just double-checked and that is definitely not an issue caused by Spectral Hound. (You didn't say TRoC caused any issues, but I just thought I should check since you've been so nice about everything!)

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. :(

Have fun with that. Helgen is... it was good the first five times? Haha.

If anyone wants to help get the word out, I've included a Reddit link on the front page!

i've probabaly done Helgen more then 5 times this week alone, jsut from saves getting f'd.

but ont he brigth side, i'm really liking Pyroclasmic Might,, the power attack is really nice and the aoe knockback is a life saver with all my extra spawns. altho, it seems the charges stack really fast when using the first fire spell, makes a fire mage into a knockback spammer. havent seen if that works with a fire enchant yet.. havent found one yet. the magic restore on it is nice too.

got the glacier one too, but havent really used it. would get the other destruction one, but thats a long walk at low levels.

good work so far, i hope ya keep it up.
