ROFL. Ya know, that actually makes sense. Especially since H.G. Wells War of the Worlds was broadcast that one time over radio ever so long ago, and people actually believed aliens were attacking, I can just imagine the skepticism if aliens were to truly attack us and do it on April 1st. They'd have half the world conquered before we did anything about it. (Ok, maybe not half, but at least a quarter)

We'd all think it's just a prank, and if the aliens were smart enough to get themselves to our planet, they surely would have studied our ways somewhat and found out about the day. . .

Yeah, I can see this one happening, but everyone knows that alien invasions happen during Christmas around the same time that a blue box appears out of nowhere.

If they were lucky they might even conquer the entire world without anyone taking it seriously. The last human alive, seeing their spaceships approach from every direction would be all like "OMG LOL! You guys really outdid yourselves this time! Uh... guys?"

I don't think so, every world leader would be on the air with their country and the military would be mobilizing I don't think a April fools prank goes that far.

But you know what would be absolutely the best thing in the history of everything? If the aliens pretended to conquer the Earth on April 1. Flying around, pretending to destroy the cities and leaving a trail of holographic fire and smoke behind them. That'd be their way of introducing themselves to us - by pulling their own prank on us for April Fools Day. THAT WOULD BE EPIC!!!

It would be an even worse day for zombie apocalypse; I've seen that prank attempted before. City destruction isn't exactly subtle, but something that happens down on the ground isn't so easy to disprove by looking out the window.

Actually that's not too far fetched to be honest since people would think it is a hoax by the news centers, but I think after seeing a couple cities invaded by little green men it would sink in. However those first few minutes there would definitely be an opportunity for an alien species to invade us. Personally I would choose Halloween since people can be pretty elaborate on that Holiday. People would think that it is a bunch of advlts having too much of a good time.

There was already a movie about that called "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaced_Invaders" and imho would have similar results minus the comedic parts. *I TOLD YOU TO INSERT TAB A INTO SLOT B*

Now...Aliens making contact with Earth could be hard to make people believe on April fools.
