No news. Just "sit tight, coming soon" kinds of messages. I think we're in for a long wait.

How does one "sit tight?" ...No seriously i mean it makes no logical sense i....oh nevermind. Basically it translates to Xbox users get the dlc first (as always) and the rest of us well, they have no clue. Hopefully we will see it before the end of the month.

He also said "expecting" It's B.S. Unless he's having a baby.

Probebly true considering they are trying to find out from Steam what is the problem (Obsidian Developer they finished the DLC, Bethesda Publisher they obviously did thier job as M$ relased it Valve/Steam Distributor not on steam thus looks like we found the weakest link)

This is unbearable! I had to come into town to the library to download this since I don't have net access at home, and I've been sitting here for hours... I wish I could get some official news here.

Okay, lets think about this logically...

HH is not available on steam right? Nor is it available on Direct 2 Drive.
Surely that means that its a problem on Bethesda's end and not steams.

I can't say I've ever really heard of Direct 2 Drive before this/these threads so i'm sorry if what i'm saying is a complete load of rubbish.

Since all PC New Vegas authenticates through steam even if D2D released it before steam it would not be playable so in the end for the PC it comes back to steam
and D2D has been around since before Steam was in Beta (it is part of fileplanet/gamespy and now IGN)

Yeah, you selfish bastard! Stop being so emo and find a copy of Hamlet and read it to us.

Be sure to use different voices (or fonts, in this case) for the different characters in order to provide us with a more pleasant experience.

D2D is just another digital delivery service. But in this case HH is a Steam exclusive. And Bethesda has already said (via Twitter, apparenlty) that they are waiting on Steam, so that implies its really just a Steam issue.

Like others have speculated, it probably has something to do with two major PC titles coming out today and Steam prioritizing those in terms of getting them up and making sure their servers can handle the load.

Okay but It's not even on Direct 2 Drive.

Surely they would have put it on the website if they where able to sell it whether or not it was available on steam.

I don't even think you directly download anything from direct2drive honestly, I know brink you were really just downloading it from steam.
