A good archer never runs out of arrows!

Hahaha I have never run out of arrows. I loot every bandit of 15 or so iron arrows. I use iron arrows for average enemies and the ebony and daedric are for RP effect against big bosses (I don't really need them, but I like how they look)

I've never ran out of arrows.. and I've played the game for over 300 hours..

I only carry around 60 arrows at a time on me so it is more realistic. So....yeah I have ran into that problem a couple times. My solution? Level up one handed + sneak, just play stabby dagger assassin until you loot/buy more arrows.

I was kiting a Giant once when I ran out of arrows. At that point I switched to my 2-handed sword and waited for certain death. To my amazement I killed him with one power swing. I had probably hit him with 50 arrows, backing up across nearly the entirety of The Rift, by the time I ran out. Plus, I went up two levels on archery skill-ups alone.

I never run out of arrows, and probably couldn't if I tried since I keep looting more off the bodies of bandits and draugr. Yeah, they're crappy Iron and Ancient Nord arrows, but as a sneaky archer I don't need much more than that thanks to the 3x damage multiplier. I still use the better ones from time to time, as I feel a high-end bow should have high-end arrows, but it's really not that much of a damage increase.

Once the CK is out I'll be adding the ability to make arrows at the forge, which will make it much more practical to use the better arrows like I really should be.

WELL, it seems I'm certainly a minority here. I think it's well known here that I'm a bit, OCD. Before I made all my Daedric Armor, I had a FULL set of Dwarven Armor... I exclusively used Dwarven Arrows because, of course, they matched, fit together, made the set, completed it. I haven't gotten to a high enough level to see Daedric Arrows yet, so I'm using Ebony, but I assure you I'll be buying those Daedric Arrows like crazy... So, THAT'S how I run out, OCD, lol.

I suggest obtaining the Bound Bow spell. Automatically gives you 100 Bound Arrows when you cast it, perfect for when you otherwise run out of ammo.

I don't understand how you can run out of arrows. There is too many of them in the game.

just one time i forgot to restock them on the city D: (never again) but.... i r uber Shinobi so... i took out my dagger and sword and everything was great

The worst time I ran out of arrows was when I shot my last one at a mammoth, but it went astray and hit an adventurer in his knee

well there was this one time at the start of the game that i didnt have arrows or a bow. and that quest in markarth that takes all your stuff. other than that, never ran out.

At the beginning of the game i always buy around 100 arrows from the archer guy in Whiterun and that keeps me well stocked until the hordes of bandits appear.

Funnily enough, I never knew Faendal could run out until i witnessed him running into a group of trolls with only his trusted steel dagger. Strangely enough, it wasn't the trolls that killed him, it was me. the bellend ran right in front of me just as i was releasing an arrow. I now know for future saves to keep him stocked.

'Twas a great servant and helped me bring down a dragon or two, but it wasn't to be.

i ran out of one type of arrow (iron or steel), because i've been raiding toombs that resuply nordic arrows. this was in the lvl 1-10 area, when i was still learning the "how"s of archery
when i realised what hapened, just entered the inventory switched to ancient nord arrows (hundreds were stockpiled), and continued fighting.

never had to buy one arrow. indeed the top end ones are very rare, but if u can't handle fights with regular ones, there's a problem with the shooter.
i've turned to falmer arrows and "the others" from the western part of the map (as wimpy as falmer arrows), because it's more interesting, not being uber character.
annoying as hell when i find myself facing a sabertooth, because they spot you right on and u get no sneak multiplier.

Hehe, that's what I use. It looks great and never runs out of arrows. My conjurer loves that bow.

I don't think I've ever ran out of arrows.

I always keep a couple hundred steel and iron, and I rarely use the higher end stuff.

When I was starting out I'd always hold on to all the Ancient Nord arrows I found just in case I was ever in a pinch.

I've never ran out of arrows. Don't know why Todd said that arrows would be so rare. I have like at least 5,000 arrows on me at all times.

Give one arrow, your best one, to your companion. If it's dwarven, elven, glass, ebony, whatever. Just one. The, every time she/he kills someothing or shoots at something, go pick up their arrows. They never run out. They will use that one single good arrow over and over and over, and before you know it, you've retrieved 30 or 40 said arrows from the environment and your companion still has that one.
