I used to belong to the marriage faction like you, then I took an arrow to the face.

Arrows not disappearing from the body is a common bug.

On pc, open the console and type:
sixchange [enter]
sixchange [enter]
The above command switch between the male and female meshes and, for some unknown reason, remove any decal or unwanted prop on the body
Don't do any operation between the two commands or you'll might be stuck with a screwed body mesh.

If you're on console, I do not know of a way to fix this bug, save reloading an earlier save.

Yes. I wonder if OP has updated his game. The issue should have been fixed few patches ago. It fixed the ice shards remaining in your body too.

I equipped then unequipped all my arrows, it didnt go away.
THEN, the arrow suddenly switched from my face to my right side. It never went away, arrow always present. What the heck? Any ideas??

I used to have an arrow stuck to my face, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
