Most game developers would of released a DLC by now whats up Bethesda?

They're trying to fix their game before they start making DLC for it.

The DLC aren't going to be small. They are going to be expansion-like. They will take some time to complete.

Who releases DLC a month and a half in? I've barely touched the vanilla game yet, I'm not ready for a DLC!

Bethesda takes their time to release a quality product. They may hit a bump or two in the begining but then they get into a snowball avanlanche roll creating one Dlc masterpiece after another the size of expansions just like in Fallout 3. Bethesda has also mentioned there will be dlcs and i think even plans on two expansions but am not sure on that.

Bethesda said they would be expansion like and that will take a while. Let's hope they keep their word on this. Anyways this game needs its bugs fixed before we get any expansion pack.

Unlike most of the other game developers, Bethesda tends to not cut content from vanilla games in order to make it a DLC. Granted, they will have already started working on it, but it was and is no where near ready at the time of release.

Bethesda said there won't be as many as Fallout, which had 5. They also said two will be 1-month Xbox exclusive.

So, 3-4 expansion-like DLC are most likely.

Same... this game has SO much content. I'm on my 2nd character and still have only explored about half the world. I hope they take their time on DLC and fix up the game first.

Exactly. I'm not fretting it.. if you ARE then you need to find another game to play. Because there are plenty o' things to do in Skyrim. Even my 100+ hr character hasn't prolly bitten off a chunk maybe 25% of what the game has to offer?

Theres so much stuff.. it's keeping ME entertained.. why not you?

(Also, yes they are trying to make sure the game runs right and please the community before releasing a HUGE expansion like DLC that could create unseen problems.)

You also have to realize they're going to prolly create a nice substantial REAL Title Update for the game for Quests/Bugs/any other problems that are the most major.

If you read at the top they're planning on ironing out the smaller problems 1st, THEN in January we will be getting much larger updates that do things over a larger spectrum.

EDIT: I think prolly March/April... if not MAY at the latest we will have our 1st DLC for Skyrim.

Edit: What I'm saying, is I think they could get away with a few more months for an expansion.

Don't call people trolls, it's against the forum rules.

DLC takes a while to develop, try and just wait patiently, and maybe replay aspects of the game some more to keep yourself entertained.

Ring the bell, do something that is worth your time. DLC will be here soon enough.

OMFG, It's amazing how many people spend their time getting on these forums (that are meant to help people) and troll all because someone asked a simple yes or no question.

I don't think you can have done everything until you've been all 10 races. The way I see it, he still has at least another 4 playthroughs!

I call shenanigans. Who releases significant DLC within the first 2 months? Unless you count patches, of which there's been 3.
