What is 1 thing that you guys hate and love about skyrim?

the open world freedom.

i hate...
the dumbing-down, streamlining and cutting away of almost everything that makes a pure rpg great.

Love: the beautiful, detailed world.
Hate: the forums ...

Love dual wielding
Hate the "streamlining" and the poor object movement system

Love the gameplay

Hate the lack of encouraging exploration

i like to see if people can keep to the post and not give essay answers.

succinct and to the point answers can provide some good feedback.

I love Magic and 2H weapons.

I hate how the College of Winterhold doesn't have magic lessons, like when you first join the college.

What i hate ;; That your character somtimes can't even jump ofer the smallest rock or something ;s

Love: The World and History

Hate: The dumbing down of magic, still the most fun playstyle =p

Love: Books, stories, rich history and lore of TES. Freedom to run around the world, be OP, be any race, be any class, wear what I want, kill or spare at my discretion.... the list goes on.
Hate: Third person perspective for horseriding. First person blood spatter on the camera lens - this is a stupid 4th wall tactic imported from the cinema.

LOVE: The Music! As much as I love the games, the music is the best thing about TES since Morrowind.

Love: Open World
hate: Extremely short questlines with no real choices.

Love: The art direction. This game's sense of style blows all other Bethesda games out of the water. Solitude and the College of Winterhold when seen from a distance is just breathtaking. Skyrim's dungeons are far more detailed and interesting than either Morrowind's or Oblvion's, in my opinion.

Hate: Nothing. Life is far too short to waste time hating anything about a mere video game. I reserve hate (when I feel it) for things that are important in life. But there are a few things - menu design, short quild quests, that I wish were better.

I love the livestocks

But I absolutely hate the craptastic consolegasmic UI

If I had to pick just one thing I love and one thing I hate...

I love the world itself. The landscapes, the mountains, the water, the towns, the ruins, the sounds. It's not the deepest in gaming, but it's certainly the most beautiful, in my opinion. It can really draw you in, and I find I can easily get lost in its wonders.

I hate the shallowness. The story, the guilds, the quests, the dialogue, the choices, the consequences. If you didn't have a strong imagination or considerable experience role-playing, it would be easy to get tired of the subpar interactions.

I love the fact that warrior build can be easily level up with a bit of trick here and there.
Hate the fact that I can't never play any magic character because I just find them hard to level up.

Love almost everything
Hate lack of character differentiation at the start of the game

Love the never ending ways to gain gold

Hate the inability to drop and swim in said gold :S

I love mods. PC gaming FTW. I love how amazing the game looks after being modded, I love all the extras you can add on. The openness to the game is equally amazing.

I hate that it was initially designed as a console game and was dumbed down so it could be played on something not much more powerful than a toaster oven. I also hate Steam with a passion.

Love: the Argonian and Khajiit models
Hate: the journal

I love Eola. No morals; never judging me or reporting me when I kill in cold blood or "borrow" stuff from people's houses. Perfect support character for my warrior build, keeping a good distance in battle, summoning flame atronarchs, reanimating enemies to fight for me, dual wielding staffs to great effect. Never annoys me with incessant banter. Looks pretty bad ass with her one "milky" eye and facial tattoo. A renowned gastronome and purveyor of "exotic" meats. Best follower ever.

I hate housecarls. Those bloody leeches sitting around my house eating sweet rolls all day while I'm out fighting dragons and provoking the greybeards into fights which I know I can't win, but I get a kick out of it so what the heck.

LOVE the world and the stories in this game.
HATE the clumsy PS3 Favorites menu.

Love the atmosphere. Dislike the PC UI.

Love: The world, TES lore
Hate: Guild questlines are too short and too shallow with no impact on the world whatsoever
