things are way to easy

K I'm halfway between lvl 49 and 50 things that owned my 15 lvls ago I can kill with one hit now the only thing that provides a minor challenge is ancient dragons I can kill giants and frost trolls with one arrow if I'm in sneak mode and 2 to a mammoth I think with the dlc should have a thing like a legendary dragon and giant tribe leaders and the occasional giant troll and they should have stronger draugers and we need more dremora to fight

I think they need a lot more high end monsters right across the board.

What difficulty level are you on? If you're still on Adept, try Expert or Master.

yup,i agree..the lack of high level creatures or even big boss fights always botherd me about TES games.
They have to add more for high level characters

Time to either find a way to enjoy yourself on that character or make a new one. I reccomend a retirement ritual where you make your farewell to that character.

What did you expect though? When you play a game on novice, you get novice level enemies.

This is what I do when combat starts being too easy : I go to Solitude and buy some Spiced Wine and Eider cheese and bread and celebrate my achievements then make a new character. Oh, and I make sure to tell the Bard about my adventures in hopes that he will immortalise me with songs.

Well being a higher level than you were obviously things are easier for you. Just go to a higher difficulty.

I don't think the game is too easy, try using things you wouldn't normally use, or roleplay a bit.

I think it's major improved in this aspect from Oblivion. In Oblivion they wanted to keep the "challenge" alive to high levels and the result you don't feel like progressing. In RPGs I like a moment to come when I'm like a God and go back to the bandit boss that was too hard at low level and bang his head with one shot. In some games that moment comes even earlier, in Skyrim I am quite happy with how much it takes to become strong and how much control I have in doing so (use enchanting, smithing and alchemy to boost stats or not, use the standing stones to boost progression or not).

That's why we had the level scaling in the first place.

"Hey, I'm God by level twenty and nothing challenges me, this game is boring!" -> "This level scaling svcks, I never feel like I get stronger!" -> "This game is too easy!"

I'd love more high level bosses especially creatures with boss names and some stories and rewards behind them (the hunt for one BIG ice troll that's hard to find ~some think it doesn't exist~ and very hard to kill, etc...). But I'd be more pleased if hard difficulty would come from creature tactics (brains) rather than increased armor and health points. We're still so far from real AI, the poor creatures can't even realize how to jump past small obstacles...

I want Arena challenge. Even if you are the big savior of the entire continent you'll still be in trouble when they give you 5 opponents in heavy that use some group combat tactic.

So you sneak, probably smith and possible enchant as well and when you one hit kill a giant your upset? Or your plaing on novice and wandering why you can crush everything.

Can you elaborate on your build and lvl your playing on?

I find a lot of people complain that it's to easy at high lvls. And when you ask why they made a character which was so OP they say because the game mechanics allows me too. Which of course is a valid statement. But if they made the game so difficult that you had to abuse crafting (etceteras) it would seriously affect those who don't want to be god like.

Not having a go OP, perhaps a DLC could create some kind of god mode for ppl to play on. But hey I'm sure ppl would be on here complaining that their toons were underpowered then.

No joke, and I bet u play on easy 2. Why not try sumthing like wars in skyrim, thar not quite bosses but more diversity in creatures. A mammoth has the ability to crush you and a huge amount of resistance to any attack even at high levels.

If you want a challenge, start a new character on master difficulty and don't exploit alchemy, smithing, or repeatedly stab the Greybeards to raise your sneak skill. Stick to armor you find or buy, rather than what you smith. Raise your skills by using them at a reasonable pace, not over and over to get them to 100.

Heck, I have a lot of problems on adept difficulty, so I don't know how so many people complain about it being easy! Perhaps it's just me?

Well, don't worry, there will be ever a reason to complain about on these forums

the most funny thing is when someone use cheats or max up all the "powerful perks" and then open a thread here because "he/she find the game "too easy".

You want a challenge ? play as a pure mage without armors and using only alteration and illusion.

The game have endless possibilities in this regard, you've to find out "how to play it " according to the developers choice.

Of course someone will complain even about the lack of "challenge" when you're at level 81; and here i agree partially.. as i've specified in other similar threads we need more enemies/variety with a scaling system applied only at high levels -waiting for the dlcs of course in that regard that would add more "levels" probably.

Me 2! I had to lower difficulty cause my one-handed melee healer died too much in master and expert! x) And also started to use heavy armor o/

Niamh is level 36/7 and is most definitely not finding it an easy ride.
If you think it's too easy adjust your playing style, up the difficulty, roleplay, use deadly combat, PISE, that kind of thing.
There's a whole world of stuff that you can do.

Or you could just complain about it.

If you really want a challenge, add some D&D equipment rules *IE mages CANNOT equip armor and cast spells, turn off the HUD, increase the difficulty and don't use smiting/alchemy/enchanting. Oh yeah. Dead is dead. Go.

I find starting on master difficulty is challangng to the point of frustration if playing a strictly melee character. Destruction with impact perk is easy but oh so very boring but I'm having a lot of fun as an illusionist archer with 100 health.

Response to title: "That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh, I like it, uh-huh uh-huh!"

I play Skyrim to have fun and kick , just get frustrated and become some enemy's . For this reason, the most difficult I ever play Skyrim is Adept.

Um, what do you consider 'smithed to the max'? I play on Master, and have a smithed daedric bow that does like 350 damage, and if I get a first-shot stealth crit, it never takes more than 2-4 arrows to kill one. I'm assuming you've taken all the archery and sneak perks that add to bow damage and crits, of course.
