Okay, I hate the elitism oozing from various people who are disappointed with this game. I get it, Skyrim wasn't the game you hoped it was. That's sad, I know. However, to imply that the people who do enjoy Skyrim are 'obviously new players' or of a 'lower class' than you is outright vile.
I've played games for 15 years, there abouts. Perhaps some of you have played longer, but I'd say 15 years puts me into the 'not a new gamer' bracket. I don't like any FPS game, I don't feel Bioware's storylines are particularly innovative or interesting, I don't like stats-heavy gameplay (though on occassion, I can tolerate it) and I really like Skyrim. My opinions might differ from yours but they are just as valid. If Skyrim was the first game I'd ever picked up, my opinion on it would still mean just as much as yours.
Now, I'm not saying Skyrim is flawless or that people don't have a right to complain. The bugs definitely deserve attention and some of the stories and characters would benefit from a little more developer-love. But for heavens sake, I don't think it's too much to ask that people on this board stop making silly assumptions about one another just because they have different opinions.
