I think the internet is stalking me....

Gotta have 'em somewhere, though the Irish are a bit less threatening than 19th century slave owners.

I think the people of Manchester and Brighton would disagree.

I think getting your leg amputated in a field hospital without painkillers would convince you otherwise. Scariest part about the war was the doctors.

I'd be fine as long as they didn't ram a popsicle stick down my throat. I really freakin' hate that.

Pretty certain they didn't do that. Too busy amputating.

Yes, I'm a male.
Yes, I'm 18.
Yes, I'm straight for the most part. :P
Yes and No. I don't know if my family qualifies as middle-class, but I definitely grew up playing video games.
No. I don't know what to call my intelligence, but I think I achieve just about enough.
No, I'm not actively racist in the least.
No, I wouldn't call myself "non-religious".

Internet doesn't know me all too well. :D

Southerners aren't a race, they're just a legion of malformed troglodytes sitting in concrete blockhouses eating jellied eels.

I take offense to that. :cryvaultboy:

Unless you're not talking about the Southeastern US. If not then yeah, screw those guys! Whoever they are!

Yes, it's his location. Although that still doesn't tell me which south he was talking about. Although he seems to have a hatred for anything more southier then he is anyway, so...

Well, Lancashire is in Northern England, and when he says south he's talking about southern england.

Heh, those are pretty big words for a northerner. I'm surprised they let you out of the factories long enough for you to look up what they mean. :P

On topic, yeah that just about fits me. But it'll fit the majority of people on the internet, especially on gaming forums. Wouldn't really classify myself as a racist though, but whatever.

That's what you think, but most times, when people outside (And inside) the US refer to "The South" they're referring to the place that I reside. Like it's the only south.

Besides, I never claimed he was talking about me. ;)

If you read all of his comments, it's pretty clear he's talking about things in england, and that I'm the one talking about our south.

I know he is, dammit. Did you not notice how I qualified my post with an "And if you're not talking about me..."?

Besides, that was only his second post in the thread. :(

But this is pointless, no need to argue. Derails aren't fun.

Anyway, I would say I fit most of those, but perhaps not the "Slightly racist" one. Although who really thinks that they're racist?

We're on the internet, be direct or be misunderstood.

Besides, that was only his second post in the thread. :(

You missed the part about invading southerners from Birmingham?

But this is pointless, no need to argue. Derails aren't fun.

yes they are.

Most people don't, but now of days racism is exhibited through things like "I'm not racist but" and "I have black friends but" followed by deprecating remarks or grumbling about asian drivers.
