I think the internet is stalking me....

Seriously.

I stumbled this. [I know it's a pretty common demographic]

But still scary.

Hmm, that age bracket doesn't seem to fit me anymore.

Also, my internet seems to be avoiding me. It wouldn't come around all day today. Very aggravating. But, I got some good adventuring done on NWN2.

It's not scary. I could tweak it a bit and put it on facebook, and every Maltese person I have online would fit in the bracket.

For the record, I fit the bracket, mostly.

(shhh, ehay isway onway otay usway.)

That's a pretty generic bracket, though TWO of those is mostly wrong in my case.

Edit: Didn't see the "Racist" bit. That's what I get for being tired and skimming a thing.

It's a bit vague, especially "somewhere in the middle class" and "above average intelligence but an underachiever".

Both of those statements are usually believed to be true regardless of the facts, at least by your stereotypical internet user (especially on [Anonymous's home site], where this picture originates from I do believe). In the West children are constantly told that they are clever and if they put in half the effort that they really should be putting in by default they will ace their exams (coming from somebody entering their last year of what would be high school in America - I can't speak for uni and I know the real work starts there if you do a "real" course). This means that the majority of people in the 15-25 age bracket are in a place where they have been told that they are clever but either they're just coming up against exams and failing miserably or they've gone on to become thoroughly average and thus, believing themselves to be of above average intelligence, believe that they have underachieved. Not to mention the extremely high opinion most males of the 15-25 age bracket have of themselves (especially on [Anonymous's home site]).

As for "somewhere in the middle class"... I unfortunately don't have the statistic on hand any more but at least in the UK and huge proportion of people believe themselves to be "somewhere in the middle class" due to the increased social stigma of being "lower class" and the increased arrogant perception of people who consider themselves "upper class". It's the least abrasive class to qualify oneself as and so, amazingly, most people do just that.

Really? I thought that was more an American thing. Where I'm from anyway people always try to big up their working class roots.

Southerners aren't a race, they're just a legion of malformed troglodytes sitting in concrete blockhouses eating jellied eels.

Culture difference I guess

Although the phenomenon of working class pride definitely exists in the UK too, with chavs mocking real people like me for being born to hard working parents.

Edit: my bad I forgot you're in the UK.

Pshhh you're a northerner? *holds up Thatcher shield and privatises NHS*

Hey wait a second! :pinch: We eat grits, not jellied eels! The rest sounds about right, though. <_<

A lot of the working class are hard working too. It just doesn't make much difference when you don't earn much.

Don't worry, we northerners are heavily armed against any soft southerners who might march up from Birmingham. I doubt those fen-dwellers could climb our hills anyway.

A sword of Jacksonian Wrath would be better. It has a plus two to fatalities in duels and war, and you gotta roll a d12 to determine chance of economic depression when it blows up the banking system.

Your lucky your southerns don't have militias that use military tactics and have semi-automatic weapons.

Gotta have 'em somewhere, though the Irish are a bit less threatening than 19th century slave owners.
