I'm sorry, I know this is off topic, but that statement is wrong in so many ways. The idea that "we would all" have been taken over by Germany (assuming that includes the United States) is ludicrous. WWI was not a war of world domination - it was an war between two more-or-less equal European alliances. It was a useless, wasteful endeavor. This was not good guys vs. bad guys, it was just plain idiocy, a complete failure of the alliance system.

Still, I wonder what would've happened to my country (France) if the outcome of the war had been different...hmm.

From what I know many in my family died in WWI, so 11-11-1918 definitely is an important date. The only good part of a war is when it stops.

Oh, and I probably won't buy Skyrim on 11-11-11

I still have other games to finish...

I kind of figured that people wouldn't be able to keep the country bashing and politics out of this. Add in a few insults for variety and you end up with a locked thread.
