This game needs a "hide helmet" feature or something

However, for the most part, the backs of the heads ARE - and the backs are the removed parts. It's not like what part of the helms they do wear accommodate for her ears or an Argonian's horns anyway. I like the wings on Glass and Elven helmets!

And it's because those masks actually EAT YOUR FACE!

This. Wearing any of the dragon priest masks, or the Nightingale hood on an Argonian looks terrible. It's like my character's face is being crushed and disfigured.

However, the game already has a Hide Helmet feature - and you can get it by doing the Smithing Tutorial! And then you can upgrade it!

HAHA! Nice one!

I swear this is one of the most [censored] suggestions ever. If you're wearing a helmet, the helmet should show. Period. What next? Hide armor option? And then hide character altogether? The game was designed like that to make the full set valuable and not make the helmets useless. After all, I don't see anything more useful than some headgear protecting your skull from bloodthirsty Orcs trying to smash it to pieces with a hammer.

Why should I have to wear a full set of armor to get faster stamina though?

That one makes no sense.

That perk should only break if you wear any heavy armor.... I should be able to have open, or non-armor filled slots without it breaking that perk.

Matching set? yah... I can see requiring all armor on to get the armor bonus...

but reduce fall damage/ stagger/ and improved regen shouldn't require full armor of weight... but rather not allow armor of the other weight class
Actually - I wonder why the perks require the full suit anyway. Wind Runner takes some serious perk-investment in the Light Armor skill, and the Heavy Armor skills are the same way. The game would be a LOT better if the perks synergized, allowing a "medium" armor to be attained with the right perk investments.

Actually, i though that was a nice little detail, it's propably because the head shape of the beasts isn't at all like humans or elves. Nice effort, but i wonder why they didn't make beast versions of the masks?

I like it better earlier in the series when beast races couldn't even wear helms (or shoes!), back when things like choosing a race or class had both advantages and disadvantages. Evidently today's modern gamers don't care for the idea of disadvantages, so Bethesda wisely chose not to ever inflict anything that could possibly lessen anyone's enjoyment.

I've played a Khajiit since Arena and have no intention of stopping. Also, she's got a nice looking head so she chose to wear one of those circlet things instead of any of the helms. I guess it's some sort of defense hit, but I have no intention of letting those damn numbers rule my life!

i don't see the problem with adding such a feature.

you guys obviously don't play beastraces. or you like to look like idiots.

it'S a FEATURE, it wouldn't affect your game. if you want to see your helmet, don't hide it. but yeah, lets flame around and say "LOL WHY U NO WANT HELMET?"

I often go without a helmet depending on my character build for those I plan to wear a helmet I tend to make them scarred, dirty, one eyed, ugly sums o [censored]es... unless they are orcs then they are ugly and proud and go no helmet.
