I really don't like the idea of the Vampire Lord Unless they polish it up to a much greater degree, and implement it in a believable way in the game, which means above all, make Vampyr Lord hostiles (highest caste of Vampire maybe?)

I have a problem with the lycanthropy tree as well, not because it's a bad idea, but because Werewolves were mishandled in Skyrim from a lore perspective.

Dragon Mount: Absolutely not. Aside from looking goofy, it undermines the size of Skyrim to a degree that makes me question just how much the author of this article knows about game design when he says "Dragon Mounts could make Skyrim Bigger.

If we get to ride dragons then I'll probably laugh and then cry and then laugh again and the stupidity of it and then moan on here for a couple of months.

lol yes indeed the vamp lord is kinda lame but the vampire feeding kill cam would make vamps the shiz. and dragon mounts eh..maybe just some new mounts instead and I would like my werewolf to just devestate enemies with help from that new skill tree. Oh and cant forget about those spears and possibly that flail cause it just looks sick.

I don't think this is a good article at all. Judging from his opinions on what would make quality DLC, he surely doesn't know a lot about TES lore and what would be best for the games.

Werebears and lycanthrophy perks.
AWESOOOOOOOOOME
If they do add the lycantrophy perks, i will definetly make a werewolf class character...big chance it would become my main too.

New mounts could be nice too, not something i would demand. But if they do add a dragon mount, i do hope they change the spot where you sit...on the neck or something would look better.

Thanks for posting - nice summary. At a guess I imagine we'll get a new land mass / quest line with a number of the features built into the expansion. I wouldn't be surprised to see new weapons types (I'm thinking of those long pointy sticks) / skills trees/ mounts along with a main quest. Given that we've seen things like kill cams, balancing tweaks added into patches - it's pretty clear that Beth want to develop the mechanics of the games as well as adding new content.

I want new land... I've seen just about every square inch of Skyrim since I don't fast-travel. I need something new.

Xbox exclusive DLC? Weak, very weak. Don't alienate PC users for the game.

I want new land as well. I also want an elaborate Vampire gig with a Vamp Lord. BUT NOT that damn giant imp, that floats around like a Lich. I want a kick ass Vampire suit of duds, with a cape that doesn't look like a big piece of cardboad on your back.

I want...I want...a sweatroll.

EDIT :

Hell, we already have thousands of extra content mods now? What do you mean alienate?

The way I see it is, if they give us new land... sure it's interesting for a day or so, but it's going to get old... and features will suffer. But if they focus on features and redefining the game, we can have something enjoyable for months or even years. Putting aside the bugs, Skyrim is a decent game but it fell short in many ways. They should really concentrate in redefining the the things that fell short to make it what it could have been. My 2 cents anyway.

That is one way to look at it. Although, I would almost be willing to bet that any DLC will include new areas to explore. Hopefully this will also include additional content, like new spells, skill trees, perks, weapons, armor, what have you. And have followers that can actually go with you to and from these places.

Unlike the SI of Oblivion. I really wanted to take the Dark Seducers with me.

Uh... this is an article about the GameJam video bethesda created waaay back in December 2011. Old news. They are very experimental and Todd said that there's absolutely no guarantee any of these things will be 'sold' as DLC, though we did get two things (underwater effects and ranged killcams) added to the game via patches.

yeah, not to rain on your parade but this gamejam stuff isn't anything new and has already been discussed to death in these forums a few months ago. We don't really know anything about Skyrim's DLC except that it will be named 'Dawnguard' and even that doesn't tell us anything.

What I want in DLC is new unique armor and weapons(the more the merrier) and stuff to spend my gold on. Once you have all the weapons, armor, houses and everything else that you could ever need, theres no more reason to have gold, we need more expensive things to buy in DLC.

Yes and someone studied the video and saw some potential in some of the things and wrote a review of sorts. Or things that would probably work with Skyrim. Thought it was interesting and showed my fellow forum members.

Just as a thought, it takes Odahviin about 10 seconds to get around Skyrim. Best alternative to FT, I say.

Yeah,i agree absolutely..A werewolf skill tree along with some more quest around companions and werewolves could bring me back to skyrim again.crossing fingers..hope Bethesda is going to add the tree.
