Three months later - are you still playing?

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 7:54 am

Yes, and I cant even believe that its been three months. If that's the case, I will easily be playing this game until the end of the year.

Yes, I got it on the 15th (I think) and still playing, just not as much. Steam says 10 hours in the past 2 weeks.

Yep, still playing after 400 hours. My main character has about 225 hrs and discovered half a dozen places yesterday.

Got it on release, put it 200 hours and gave it a break for a month or two. I'm now playing again and loving it. Wish this game was as authentic and deep underneath the beautiful skin.

stopped playing about 3 weeks after release due to lag/freezes. tried it out after 1.4 but nothing left to do. kill bandit leader at x location quest over and over is not fun, and seems to be the only thing left to do since that is the only quest i get anymore.

Yeah, it's still my main game right now. Have two characters I switch off between to get both flavors of quests (one's a goody-goody, the other an evil assassin and all) so it keeps me entertained. Couple that with the fact I play fairly slow and haven't progressed with much main quest.... I think Skyrim has a lot of life left for me.

This game is my default until I get burned out after 5 hours, then my other games follow..Then it's back to skyrim!

BTW, this was pre-ordered, and it's been worth every penny since!

Not at the moment. I have over 200 hours into the game and I am taking a necessary break from it. However, this is a game that you can pick up again at any time, and I certainly intend to do that.

Skyrim is going to come in huge in the weeks leading up to Mass Effect 3's Mar. 6th release. There isn't too much else out there that can keep me preoccupied for this long, and this effectively.

As of last night I finished the Main Quest. Level 51. Listener: Dark Brotherhood; Arch-Mage: College of Winterhold; Thane in all cities; Civil War heroine; saved the world. I'm done with the game until DLC gets published. 215 hrs this play through.

First playthrough was completely fubared at 154 hrs.

Yes, I'm still playing Skyrim pretty much exclusively. I have switched from Xbox 360 (bought @ release) to PC (just bought from Steam yesterday) and still very much enjoying myself. The RP aspect keeps things fresh for me, and I can see myself playing different characters for a long, long time.

I stopped playing back when they announced how long the Ck was being delayed. Just recently started playing again with the CK's release, finally.

Yes. Unfortunately since I am unable to play right now because of no internet and I've been trying to download the texture packs I'm forced to play a different game until I get real internet back.

Stopped a few weeks ago, after NPC's stood around locked to the spot 24 hours a day due to their AI locking up, mines not refreshing, spells not appearing at master level skill...and so on.

Played New Vegas for a while as I didnt want to sink any more hours into it if the 1.4 patch was going to screw things over a little.

Started again just recently.

This is supposed to be a joyus time yet its been a royal pain.

A new TES game is supposed to be cause for celebration yet its divided the fanbase.

I don't know what some of you guys are talking about.

Skyrim has a TON of replay-ability in my book.

I've probably started over 5 or 6 times.

What compels me to do it is my desire to play a different race, switching play-styles (Sword and board, dual wield, 2H weapon. I never use magic really except for Illusion), and bouncing back and forth between Empire/Stormcloaks.

I've been playing Skyrim ever since about a week after it came out.

224 hours spent. Good times. Now I'm not playing and just keep checking to see if good DLCs or overhaul mods are coming out.

BTW this is kind of a weird thread because odds are if you are not interested in this game, you aren't reading this! :P

I stopped playing a couple weeks ago, although, most of my free time was spent playing the game

I will probably get excited and start playing again when they announce DLC

I agree. I'm getting more and more stoked to begin again after taking my break. I'll have put more hours into Skyrim in five months than I put into Oblivion in five years.

A couple weeks after release, I'd stopped playing at a reasonable pace.
Now, occasionally I'll play my elf for a couple hours. There's still a lot to see in the game, and I don't mind only playing once a week or two - keeps the game very fresh. :)

No i'm playing Kingdoms of Amalur it's highly addictive and has a ton of content and RPG depth. I like it better than Skyrim in some ways . Those of you that haven't picked it up yet should ,it's a very good RPG.
