Man it's funny how you don't really need stopping power in normal core. Just got 30 kills and 6 deaths in ffa.

FFA is easy, usually most people playing it don't know how to play the game so you get put against nubs. That or people with runner classes who will run at you 5 times before stopping.

Stopping Power is meh in everything but quick/no scoping.

good for FAMAS/M16 also.

Surround your Xbox with red candles, and sacrifice a Wii by snapping it in half over your head.

Or, make sure your Xbox's IP adress has access to the 3034, 53, and 88 ports from you routers set up page. Google " *your router model* xbox open nat" for help.

Just got my 500 fal kills last weekend and red tiger for the famas. And i got to level 30 in just 2 days.

You don't get a title if you haven't prestiged.

You can get the Mastery titles before though, I think that's what he meant.

Anyways, yesterday I got:

USP .45 500 kill title
FAL 1000 kill Emblem
ACR 500 kill title
Pyrotechnical title (50 Stealth Bomber kills post prestige)

Since I'm feeling rather hungover, I'm probably going to spend most of my day playing it if any body would like to join.

Oh my god!!!!!! I just joined this Search Match and it was a clan there but one of there people left so it was only eleven people so I got in there. They all used Riot Sheilds and they just kept on shooting each other's Riot Sheilds and then switched classes with OMA I watched for about ten seconds then killed them all for the next four rounds. I never got to kill all of them because they accedintley were killing themselves but I went 12-0.

Oh my god!!!!!! I just joined this Search Match and it was a clan there but one of there people left so it was only eleven people so I got in there. They all used Riot Sheilds and they just kept on shooting each other's Riot Sheilds and then switched classes with OMA I watched for about ten seconds then killed them all for the next four rounds. I never got to kill all of them because they accedintley were killing themselves but I went 12-0.

That's called Riot Shield boosting,it's very common because it gives the most exp/hour possible without hacking in MW2..and does it very consistently.

I just went 30-12 in an FFA on Rust only quick scoping with the Intervention,never touched my secondary..was really,really fun.

Killstreaks were UAV/CUAV/EMP.

After a long and expletive filled hour, I finally managed to get an 'Open Nat'. Hopefully this will remove all the stuttering I've been having lately!

since bullets kill really easy you can shoot through anything and it's a 1 shot..which is very helpful for FMJ kills.

Shoot through glass when possible..it counts as a FMJ kill.

I suddenly realized something today that pissed me off. Have you noticed in this game that they gave way too many guns dumb-ass nicknames like Thumper? I don't know why that pisses me off, but it just does, because most of them sound retarded. I don't care if it's nicknamed by that in the military; a gun called the Thumper sounds like a [censored] joke. Off the top of my head, these guns include: Thumper, Javelin, Stinger, Intervention, and even the Barrett .50 cal, to an extent. I hope that doesn't become a trend in CoD games, because I think it's plain retarded.

They nicknamed them (I assume) so that they can be talked about easier. Would you rather say, "I need a thumper" or "I need an M-79 Grenade Launcher"

Also, I'm kind of late to the whole MW2 party, I just got to level 20 today and need some tips on leveling up a little faster. (Everyone is already a much higher level)

Just played a few games today after not playing for about a month and surprisingly I still did pretty well. It seems it's just like riding a bike, you never forget how to do it.

Do the weapon challenges. That's really the only way to level up at a decent pace.
You can try some search and destroy too.

It's not like anyone says "AUG HBAR" or "SCAR-H" or "Barrett .50 caliber" in-game. You give it short nicknames that can easily be said; "AUG", "SCAR", ".50 cal". I find the word Thumper to be just as easily said as M-79.

I would honestly take that gun much more seriously if they had given it its real name. At least with Javelin and Stinger, they came close.

The only guns off the top of my head that have nicknames are the Thumper (M79), the Vector (Kriss TDI) and Intervention (M204)... the rest are their honest-to-god names... Except the Ranger but that's like a "run-of-the-line sawn-off".

To make the post more useful: I find ACOG scopes on snipers GREAT on 3rd person but I can;t kill anything when in first. Damn sway. <_<

I see where you're coming from on those one's yeah but not the other ones, TBH. I see the Intervention and my head thinks M204. I see the Thumper, head says M79. Vector? Kriss TDI.

But the other ones I just don't get where you're coming from. :huh:
