Nope. When Bone descends from the admin heavens and bukkit updates (plugins too) then we shall reach 1.0. and when I shall be cast down back to a mod.

Bukkit has been updated.

I have no idea how to update it. While I can attempt to summon the weather god I doubt he'd be able to help, with changing the provider and what not. Besides I doubt half the plugins are ready.

As long as the vital basics are online, would it matter if Random Plug-In X Lol was updated since the servers closed to new users until we're back online in full capacity? We wouldnt have to worry about a random new griefer since the users who'd be on are all (mostly) trustable.

It's Big Brother and Spout we need.

We are forgoing Spout since it is not quite compatible with mcMMO, remember?

The plugins we need are BB, Lockette, Essentials, Permissions, and SafeCreeper, just off the top of my head.

Has the 256x256 photrealism pack and it's bumpmap pack been updated for 1.0.0 yet?

The GSL or what ever Shader pack said the would release the next update when the final of minecraft was released.

Actually, I seem to recall Bone mentioning something about us having live creepers come the 1.0 map.

You DO NOT want live creepers, unless your prepared to have you major cities filled with craters and bunch of lazy and/or poor people who don't care and/or can't repair the creeper damage.

I know from experience.

If I recall correctly, the issue of having live creepers was to be bundled with having some form of mob protection program, whereby mobs would not spawn or be allowed within city limits. I recall one mod that allowed players to build a mob repulsor beacon that would keep the baddies away at a certain radius... Sadly, I cannot recall the name of it. There's also a slew of Bukkit zone protection plugins like EpicZones, Residence, and Regios that can despawn mobs or nerf creepers within certain zones only, making the remainder of the map fair game for crater creation.

I BELIEVE The City had something to this effect, as I only ever saw skeles and zombies in town.

The Repeller plugin didn't work.

i see no reason not to nerf creeper damage to envioronment, they provide enough of a challenge with the damage turned off. also, i don't recall bone ever mentioning that they would be turned on.

Maybe it was just for the test map or something. I seem to recall something about it being 'a challenge for those not sticking together' or something. Maybe he was just throwing the idea around though.

Last time, you basically debeautified the non-PvP map and got someone permabanned. I don't think you will be whitelisted. Also the server's down til some time in December.

Did I? Care to explain because I am confused

I prefer having unnerfed creepers, makes it that bit more exciting/tense/challenging when you know there's one near your home.

Meh, I'm rather indifferent on the whole nerfed creepers. Someone should make a poll on the forums so we can reach a decision.

I don't mind it in general, but what I don't like is how many people who shall remain nameless continuously 'accidentally' led creepers by peoples homes when they detonated.

Indeed, I can see how that would be a problem. Taking that into consideration then, I'm all for nerfed creepers.
