What are you talking about, you couldn't get it to work either.

I got it from the hostname thing to just timing out though. Which is progress.

texanshasa? Not texnshasta? If not, cool, someone either has dogs named texa and shasa or a strange mind. If so, I've been hacked. It's not like I use the password for anything else or have tons of money invested into it that could be stolen.

ive just had a minecraft hunger bar related flash mob idea. i noticed how incongruent my reaction to hunger in minecraft and in reality. that being, when i am at work i don't suddenly stand still and eat what ever peice of meat is in my hand.

wouldn't it be hilarious if a large group of people went some where and just stood erect eating pork out of their hands and then being on their merry way?

If anyone is feeling a little creative (and bored), the city of Markarth from Skyrim can be easily built on minecraft given its dwarven design.

Now I just want to play Skyrim instead of doing work (which is what I should be doing right now)

I'd build it if I didn't find single player so boring and pointless.

Well, I'd try.

Texenshata. What a strange name. Did you mean my name? If so, well, itwasn't me because I've never seen you on another server nor have I been on very many other servers. Is there any way to change your password?

Yessir, go to www.minecraft.net and change your PW in the profile settings IIRC, thats what I did when I was scared during Lego mentioning MC's account comprimises.

And just like default MC, his merch is crapola.

I kinda want the belt for Christmas actually, but otherwise, I'm not too impressed with the selection given here.

I like the BUCKLE of the belt, but I seriously hate those woven cloth styled belts. I prefer classical notched belts personally.

I don't mind the cloth style, as long as its high quality. I had one once that the cloth wore down really fast and finally ripped. I wouldn't mind the key chain either if it wasn't 10 bucks.

I wish I could host my own Minecraft server, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Port forwarding just doesn't make sense with multiple routers.

I had the problem with that, so I just set up a Hamachi server  Good for if you just plan on playing with friends.

I think minecraft.net is down again, for it works in-game but not on the website.

I tried that. Nobody has been able to connect so far.

It's basically Ravinehold without one wall and no roof, and a large tower.
Edit: That's why it's so great.

I'm having problems with the new versions of Minecraft. I don't know when it started (I'm not the one who plays) but I noticed that the framerate is pretty terrible most of the time, and it uses over 1GB of memory when it's running. It's the same even if I lower the settings.

I'm pretty sure my PC is able to handle Minecraft, so I dunno why it's behaving so slowly. Anyone else have similar problems and know how to fix it?

Relevant PC specs (well above the recommended, I'm sure):
i5 2500k
GTX 560 Ti
4GB RAM

Have you tried running the Open GL? It helped me alot. Or maybe you need to allocate more memory to it in Java? Also, if you have a recent computer, I hear using the 64 bit java instead of 32 helps some users.
