They seem to be very muscular so I don't think it makes sense to have them only be mages.

Also, they really shouldn't be mages if they're 3rd person only. Magic isn't exactly easy to aim in third person.

Here's hoping for a first person mode and more combat options.

It's like saying only becouse wolfs have only their fangs as a weapon others are not allowed to have fangs too.

It's unknown if that form uses magic only, but I would think it would allow melee since magic pools can only be used so much at a time.


But magic is a vampire's greatest weapon, so it kind of makes sense. I mean look at Dracula in Castlevania, how often does he use melee? Even in their beast form, they are mostly jumping around or spitting fireballs.

If the new spells are cool then they could be just as brutal as using melee. I think I saw an instance where they grabbed someone using energy/gravity, and they can probably crush them/throw them without needing to physically touch them.

I think it will probably be like the werewolf. Third person and with melee (plus inclusion of magic). Bethesda don't seem keen on 1st person anymore. I wonder if the sprint button will trigger the fast flying animation.

I don't know if i'am right but didn't bloodmoon werewolves had first person combat?..Been too long since i've played Morrowind...i think they had..it's sad they didn't gave the new werewolf a 1st person view.

werewolves aree 3rd person only so it only makes sense that vampire lords are as well

Vampires and vampire lords should have bite available as a unarmed attack. I would love to sneak attack someone with my fangs!

That doesn't make sense. I think werewolves are 3rd person only because they didn't have time to make werewolves arms animations/testing for first person.

they can make any form support 1st person if they want.

Agreed..everthing is possible and i would be more than happy to see both 1st & 3rd person cams
