I've only ever had one vampire attack, i don't know if it's just my game but people are really over exaggerating it.

The whole point about Skyrim is for you to venture out and explore these places and without people to give the quests or misc quests then it just ruins the gameplay i honestly hope they take it out a living town is better than a empty town and that's why people are making a big deal if the vampires keep attacking the towns then the gameplay just gets more hollow because there no more quest givers and only the essentials live not the shopkeepers, or the guards, or the beggars....sure there are caves, dungeons, dragon lairs, and Nordic Ruins but that's only HALF of the gameplay the other half is exploring these places and once your done then what...i hope Bethesda does take this random incursion out

So places like Whiterun, Riften, Etc gets attacked? plus there's a chance of losing someone you really like all because these beasts feel like feeding or whatever?

with all the people complaining about their towns being slaughtered, do you think Bethesda may take them out of the game?
I for one hope not, I love the fact they added, random town attacks from the vamps, it's fun and adds incentive to actually sleep at night if you wish to stop them, which could aid in roleplaying like.... but seriously with everyone moaning do you think they'll take them out....?

I hope they do. It wouldn't be so bad if the AI could actually respawn. As it is now, a few of my cities/settlements are GHOSTOWNS. It's boring when the only people who are left are NPC's that can't be killed because they are important.

Urgh...its not wether YOU have the problem...its wether the NPCs do!

Seriously visiting a town is like everyones "Escort Mission" nightmare from every other game.
well, ok then, 2 town guards and that guy who you have to get his sword back from the bandits fended off a master vampire and 2 thralls and a death hound at level 8, better? So its not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be, I was at level 11, and sat there watching the guard slaughter the vampires. No problem.

I was ammused the first few times but once a city is a ghost town with only a few guards with 1-2 immortal NPC's and all vendors dead then yes, in my book they are slightly overdone and need way toned down. Totally breaks any kind of immersion going into an empty town with all quest givers dead, its quite [censored] .
Actually, immersion being broken would be the people being respawned all the time. If they die, they die, oh well. Thats one of the reasons the people in fort dg and castle volkihar never run out of money. so you can just sell your stuff to them.
