Do you guys realize that if you'd calm down Nick or another rep would probably post about it? There's no sense in acting like savages.

Well this svcks. I have most of the day free and was hoping to be playing by now. Still early, but the lack of news is disconcerting. My completely uninformed speculation is that Steam decided to make some other big releases a priority and that HH will show up a bit later. We're coming up on two hours past the typical Steam release time, so hopefully its soon.

But this is the downside of relying on a single provider. Bethesda is at the whims or realities of whatever is going on at Steam today.

I really don't think that is the issue here. If they have something to say, they will say it regardless of some people acting like "savages" or whatever. This is their forum, they can moderate as they see fit. If they have nothing to say to us, then well they have nothing to say to us and we will continue whining about not being able to buy Honest Hearts. Seems fair, and honestly, they have the better bargain since they're getting our money either way. Letting us vent on the forum when there's a mess up and we're unable to -give them money- seems like pretty fair exchange. :P

From what I can tell from the steam and here it's valve's problem right now. It was originally suppose be circa 10am turned into a maybe 1pm. Now they're saying if it's not 3pm it's time to slit our wrists because there's a good chance it wont be up until tomorrow.

I don't think Valve knows exactly, because, unlike what lots of people here seem to think, it isn't as simple as pressing a button to allow us to download it. I'd much prefer late updates from Bethesda that actual tell us something, then to have them tell us they still don't know every minute.

Uhm - they *should* be prepared for a release of this type, the only thing they need to worry about is the distribution. Is it really that hard to get right?
They get all the files needed beforehand and a release date. If they can't handle that, they shouldn't agree to said release date. Now they have, and they've failed. (To the "simultaneous launch" part, set by Bethesda.)
Even if it's not as simple as to just press a button - they've still failed. Preparation? Oh, have you not heard of such a thing, Valve?

See, this is what good customer service is all about though. Getting yelled at and handling your customer's anger/frustration. See, the correct thing for the guys from BethOb to do is to post in these threads more than they have to explain things to their customer base. Forget that we are all fans of their work. We are still customers first and foremost. So, if the people we buy our products from can't seem to convey to us the customer then how does one expect us to stop screaming?

No, it won't.
Probably this is one of the freaky social-psycological experiments of Vault-Tec. :/

:slap: That doesn't really help people on the PS3 or Steam. Plus someone already made that comment, so if someone else feels like being clever, I'll point and yell "OLLLD!".

Reading through 500 replies, responding to them and being nice to the ridiculous amount of trolls...

vs.

actually tearing Valve a new one and get the DLC out.

Easy peasy choice.
