another dog? nah, doubt that, and anyway Dogmeat went off with the Lone Wanderer (in final slide). Won't be Harold, any of the Eastern BOS. Fawkes maybe. Brotherhood Outcasts, I like that.

I don't think we'll be seeing any character from FO3. If so, it'll probably be Desmond. Paulson, Butch or Clover would be sweet though.

Another dog would be okay, but no more dogmeat please. Why would a dog bother crossing an entire continent to visit Vegas?

Better yet, give me an other animal. Snuffles seemed like fun. Or a Gecko, Coyote or Nightstalker. There are a lot of possibilities. Heck, give me a Centaur. Give me Moe!

I'll just kill this thread entirely. No characters from Fallout 3 will be appearing in any DLC.

The decision to not have anyone from the east coast was made very early on in FNV's development. It's a seriously long way for someone to travel in a world without cars and extremely limited air travel (vertibirds aren't made for cross-country flight).

The sole exception was ED-E.

I'm fine with no FO3 characters being in NV.
What annoys me however, is the ludicrous notion that traveling from DC to Vegas in 4 years is somehow impossible.

Traversing the U.S. in under a year, could be done easily..
If an idea was dropped because of that misinformation, then that's really sad indeed.

Well Sulik was said to have traveled east searching for his sister after parting ways with the chosen one. Men with fire sticks took her but it was never confirmed they were Enclave.... maybe he ended up in the Big Empty in a stasis pod during his search. I miss Grampy bone's wisdom....
