weird things about dungeons

No need. It's not the bra that's magical, it's what's inside... :whistling:

Granted, but perhaps they're best accomodated with a Bra Of Cleavage-Enhancement +5...

Skyrim Inventory System Sillyness Example

The Beautiful, Busty Blonde in Bikini Armour then reaches into her bra and removes a bow, arrows, giant war hammer, sword, dagger, shield, spare change of clothes... made of metal, 50 potions, 5000 gold coins, an assortment of animal hides, pots, vases, brooms and other junk some of which are bigger than her head, a fridge worth of food, half a gardens worth of herbs, a bookshelves worth of books and enough rings, circlets and gems to fill a jewlery box"

I call this the "Bugs Bunny Effect" where Bugs, (who is, for all intents and purposes, naked) reaches around to his back and seemingly out of nowhere, pulls out a sledge hammer bigger than himself and proceeds to wallop Elmer Fudd with it. And Semi-seriously, D+D used to have an item, the magical "Bag of Holding" whose exact purpose was to hold all the loot (such as blondie had in her bra in the example here) a player would not normally be able to carry back from the dungeon. So, yes, magic at work again, LOL.

It still amazes me how anyone could play a video game that takes place in a semi-medieval, totally fantasy world where massive dragons terrorize villages inhabited by co-existing elves and men, where giant walls with scratch marks imbues someone with dragon's blood the ability to shout people into ice cubes, where you can go to college and learn how to fling fireballs from your fingertips ... and wonder how there is fresh lettuce in a tomb.

Ah, but suspension of disbelief is something best used sparingly. It's one thing to have the big stuff - dragons, wizards, etc., - be fantastic. The mundane should work like expected. Food shouldn't be sitting in a tomb, perpetually fresh. We expect the little things to work like normal. Food rots - or at least we don't see it out somewhere that nobody will come and replace it. And so forth.

You do have a point. Personally, I've never really noticed fresh food lying around in a tomb. On those occasions where I had seen food, I never thought of it as unusual. I assume that bandits left it there when camping out, or that families visiting their family tombs leave it as offerings. It seems as if old tombs and caves are frequented by the living in Skyrim.

true but draugers are mostly in there coffins waiting for you to pass so they can attack

They only do that when you enter, while you are not around they are total party animals. ;)

If there`s one thing that annoys me about fantasy games is when people use sweeping excuses like `magic` to explain off sweeping mistakes made by the makers of game.

Magic has its own sets of rules. Things it can or can`t do. At least that`s how it should be if the Bethesda writers actually know what they`re doing. We, the Player, don`t know what they are which keeps the magical mystery, but that don`t mean it solves everything.

Reminds me of StarWars sometimes where if you question something that don`t make sense, they`l tell you it`s the `Force` that made it happen. For everything.

Anyway, now if we know that undead sometimes got up and relit the candles i could live with that. they fight intruders, maybe whatever animates them also causes them to want to keep the place lit. But even then the candles should eventually run out...

But the fresh vegetables make no sense at all except in one case: if relatives are visiting the tomb to leave food for their dead ancesters. This is something that actually used to be done in real life. Other than that there should be no fresh vaegatables in most tombs, especially deep ones.

I also wonder about all the Septim gold coins in tombs that were supposed to be sealed for 1000s of years.

And why all the ruins have not been fully explored by now.

only if magic was in real life :(

Yeah, think of how much money we can save by not needed refrigerators.
