Something that gets a bit annoying after a while in Skyrim is the lack of normal greetings. Having the NPCs say things like "wel met" and a simple "hello", and only have them talk about themselves if you started the conversation would be an improment.

Well met, kinsman.

Heard it quite a bit in Skyrim, so you technically miss it from Oblivion how?

Because in my hundreds of hours playing as a khajiit, imperial, high elf, dark elf, and argonian, I've never once heard that line. I get the occasional "well met, traveller", but everyone else just starts talking about themselves the moment you're near them.

It always pisses me off when my housecarl says that. It's my freaking house, just say something like "Welcome back boss"

'Well met, Kinsman' is usually only said by Nords. And, obviously, as they're addressing their kinsman, you can only hear this line as a Nord.

You know what's what's wrong with Skyrim these days? Everyone used my good hammer in the cloud district very often :stare:

The shop keeper at The Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun will say it to a Mer character upon walking up to his counter. ;)

I've only ever heard 'Ah, how my heart soars to look upon a brother/sister Bosmer!' myself. Perhaps I'm wrong though.
