Werebears and Spears the two things I want most in DLC #3

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 9:47 am

I wouldn't mind forced lunar transformations. In fact I think it would be cool. But I doubt bethesda will implement. Hope they prove me wrong though.
how would that work?? in the middle of whiterun and then boom everbody is attaking you and you are known as a were beast?? i think it would be alright and i dont think beth would because of that reason and only give people more to gripe about...

It doesn't work like Bloodmoon, in Skyrim you just get a 1000 gold bounty and that is it. So they could easily implement lunar transformations.

the ring of Hircine already does it, you could be selling off your wears and all of a sudden your eating the towns folk. I do it myself, I'll keep watch for a full moon and will change when there is a full moon

Exactly, and those people who do b!tch about forced lunar transformations can just stay the special werewolves we have now.

Since the companions are a different form of the disease(the Glenmoril witches cursed them), beth could introduce wild werewolves so the player could chose between controlled or lunar transformations.

Guys, please behave. We do not want any links or discussions of leaked content.

Look I am in a good mood today so don't make me grumpy. You can discuss the possibilities of werebears if you want, but you won't like me if I turn into one. - OK?
lets not make him a crazy werebear i only want them in Skyrim....not on the fourm :ahhh:

Lycanthropy isn't a power-up. It shouldn't be just a moment where people can turn into a canine black hulk and run around chomping down on unfortunate svckas. Since vampires always gets those messages at the top of the screen, werewolves should of gotten a few as well! Was it really so hard to implement full moon tranformations?

Vampires get warnings when they first become vampires: You feel strangely weakened by the sunrise". At sunset, the message is "You feel a strange thirst come over you".

Why can't werewolves have "The Full Moon is rising. You feel a strange bestial sensation come over you" or "The Full Moon is tonight. You will transform."

Or some warning that serves as a headsup for these players who want everything to be too damn easy.

Personally, I would like more armor and weapons and ways to customize both. Especially the armor. Like adding surcoats/cloaks and things of that nature so you dont look like every other npc in the game. Maybe something similar to how Imperial armor was handled ( you were given the light, medium, and heavy option and each was different ) with the other armor types like steel, ebony, daedric etc.

Actual mail armor would be nice. More unique or legendary sets of armor would be nice as well ( along the lines of the nightengale set ). Possibly attainable through quests, exploration, or defeating some random badass out terrorizing the countryside in BFE. I would definitely pour quite a few hours into piecing together some epic armor sets. Just some more stuff to work toward once you finish the rest of the content. Something like this for weapons as well. Instead of simply ebony sword of maiming, you're finding the weapon of some legendary figure with unique look and effects. More "special" locations just waiting to be stumbled upon. Spears would be cool as well.

More blacksmithing options. Instead of onoy being able to craft the standard weapon/armor maybe a few different models of each category. Or creating you're own unique weapon/armor.

A return of the arena, or a similar concept.

Of course building youre own fortress would kick ass, especially if random quests could be included. Defending your fortress from attackers could be interesting.

New areas to explore wouldn't hurt either, but im not sure how that could all be added in only one DLC.
