I'm so out of it that I don't even know what Underworld and Twilight are. Not owning a television keeps a fella out of the loop.

Consider yourself one of the lucky ones then, both were horrid movies IMO. I'm just tired of people spewing it out, even though " Underworld " did have an alright story to it but bad acting and what not.

No, it was not a troll. I know it is some vampire show and things sparkle. Other than that I have not seen it and I don't personally know anyone that watches or talk about it.

Don't group me in with some kind of teen haters here. I am just saying I play a good guy human nord warrior. New weapons/armor appeal to me, but not vampire lords or some of these other taboo topics. I am also not a TES lore buff, and Skyrim is my first TES game, so the fact they have mentioned this kind of stuff in previous games does nothing for me personally, because that's not how I play the game.

Guys, please behave. We do not want any links or discussions of leaked content.

Look I am in a good mood today so don't make me grumpy. You can discuss the possibilities of werebears if you want, but you won't like me if I turn into one. - OK?

As far as I know the Dawnguard is just a club for humans only who hunt vampires and possibly were-creatures. You may be lucky and it's handled kinda like the Fighters guild from Oblivion.

Well, I encourage you to read the in-game books and scour the UESP. Furthermore, I encourage you to play Oblivion--if you don't mind dated graphics (they used to be state-of-the-art :D), it's an incredible game, and IMO, better than Skyrim in many respects (though I generally hold them both on about the same level).

If vampirism and lycanthropy aren't your thing, feel free to join the Dawnguard and kill you some fat mosquitoes. Outside of that, Beth is known to have much more than just the core content in their DLCs--you'll see more than just vampires and vampire hunters even if you don't start the main quest, and there will certainly be sidequests (Beth has never released content unlike that).

Anyone see the video in the last thread that had two grizzly bears fighting and one of them took a massive dump at 1:09 in the middle of combat? I hope Rohugh doesn't do that!

But seriously, folks, on topic: I'm having a hard time imagining what werebears would look like. As far as I know, they don't appear in any TES games (correct me if I'm wrong) outside of just lore. What are they like? All I know is that they're supposed to be the most common werecreature in Skyrim (officially called the most common lycanthrope, but the Latin in that term denotes wolves and nothing else, so I'm guessing it's layspeak).

Pretty cool. Is that a mohawk? :D

I vaguely remember the werebear from the Game Jam video, but as far as I recall, it was only seen from behind while sprinting; not much to get a good look at.

In the game jam vid. it looked like they copied the normal bear frame but gave it werewolf mechanics( if you catch my drift ). A werewolf stands about 7 feet tall and can be compared to " light infantry " being able to move fairly fast, very agile, and pretty powerful. I'm hoping that werebears will stand about 9 feet tall and would be comparable to a tank, not very fast but can take an ass kicken and deal enough damage to split a man in two with a single swipe or destroy a group with ease.

I don't doubt that they wouldn't, the werewolves look badass so I'm assuming that the werebears would look INSANE.

That looks okay, and I'm sure that it'd be more polished if werebears truly exist in the upcoming DLC.

I'd like to try it out, but honestly I might have a hard time. My Nord paladin is already attached to the idea of being a werewolf, and I actually like the companions--how will that experience be different if I'm already a werewolf or a werebear?

Lets hope that the werebears are actually good unlike the current werewolves, and by good I mean they actually have monthly lunar transformations.

If they are in dawnguard,I dont think they are going to have lunar transformations,If they are going to have that. Werewolves should also get that

Then those people can quit their [censored]ing, and stay a werewolf, some of us would like to have a normal lycanthrope. One or two monthly changes would not be bad, it isn't like Bloodmoon where you change every night.
