Wait till you find out about the people in Markarth... :ermm:
Omg that was crazy. Especially the shopowner's spouse...

My stealth character came across several bandits. Stealth does not work with someone charging you with a big sword while his friend shoots arrows at you. We were outside so I turned into the wolfman and pretty much tore them up with little effort. If not for being able to turn in a werewolf, I would have had to run away and miss out on looting their bodies.

I guess I am mistaken in thinking the 1 handed skill affects werewolves?

*shrugs* Idk. I've only ever become a werewolf with my aforementioned Nord that only used two handed hammers(That he liked to call Mjolnir :P). Even if it did, it doesn't fortify it, and even if it fortified it skill means little to nothing in this game. Someone with 25 skill in one handed and one of those damage perks outdamages someone with 100 skill in one handed and no damage perk.

To say it caught me off guard was an understatement. I assume now that the family in town they have a beef with are vampires, yes?

Indeed. There's a whole plotline where you can romance Bel - I mean, Ysolda as a Vamp or Wolf, with the other family member competing against you.
