werewolves are invincible in skyrim

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 6:49 am

you could kill all of whiterun's residents very easily just kill the weaker citizens feed then fear the guards kill em with power attacks and feed on them as well rinse and repeat until you kill everyone.

Your post implies that Werewolves are killable (as they, in fact, are), thus proving they are NOT invincible. Why do so many people on this forum lack logic and/or common sense?

This. On my Stealth Archer, going Werewolf seems like a gimp.

This is the type of thread that will soon fall into obscurity. Or be locked.

Only reason i have to use werewolves is assasinations.

Turn into werewolf
run in. get kill
No bounty on you
run out

Also- werewolves dont scale well. Whilst they might be great at low level i struggle with multiple guards. one on one i am good.

werewolves are too generic i think werebears and/or wereboars would've been much better also that still doesnt change the fact that they're soo overpowered in the game.

I'm a werewolf, myself, but I rarely use it. Not because it is overpowered (is more the term you're looking for), but because it is underpowered. When I do use it, it's because I decided I wanted a challenge, not to make things easy.

EDIT: Here's your werebears, lol. Sorry, everytime I hear werebears, I think of these. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3jq8yeiUrAU/SYh1U5z1MzI/AAAAAAAACeE/rD_71Mt5puo/s400/werebear.jpg

It isn't useful for combat, but you can run at crazy speeds which is good for exploring.

I never thought of the bounty angle. That's kinda sweet. Something to consider for future playthroughs (my current char is not a "Companion" type).

I was a werewolf fairly early on in my main playthrough, but I never really used it. The game can be tough but I never got into a scraqe where I felt I had to wolf-out to survive. I thought it was always implied that turning would make you very powerful.

I only really used it to clear out enemies camps. I'd 'wolf out', howl for effect then charge in and kill everyone before they truely understood what was happening. I could probably use it better in those situations, but maybe I'll do that next time I decide to become a werewolf

The only things I use werewolf for are for the disease resistance and running away from enemies in open spaces when I need to.

Overpowered? Lol...Not even close. They scale dismally. It's basically Plainsrunning which was the form of travel given to Taurens in WoW before release. Enjoy the movement speed sans-horse.
