So What Are You Doing In Skyrim #3

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 6:30 pm

Nariko had an interesting series of events happen in the last few days.

While exploring Solitude for the first time, an argonian named Jaree-Ra asked for her help in wrecking a ship. It all sounded fun and with nothing else pressing to do she went and put out the fire at the lighthouse. A fog rolled in soon after and she watched the shadowy outline of a ship sail by. Reporting back to Jaree-Ra she learned they wanted her help with the ship itself. She was to meet Deeja his sister and get her cut of the spoils. Unfortunatly for them perhaps, Nariko is a greedy orc. As she hiked from Solitude to the wrecked ship, she schemed of double crossing them and taking everything for herself. With a few well placed arrows she killed the guards on deck and then sneaked on board.

It became quickly apparent that something fishy was going on. No goods were found so one by one she silenced the guards until she got to Deeja. Turns out they had the same thing in mind for her as Narkio found a note on Deeja's headless corpse indicating as much. It all seemed ironic to Nariko and she wasn't upset in the least and set off for the cave after spending the night in the ship with Deeja's corpse on the floor.

Jaree-Ra never saw it coming. Nariko killed everyone from afar including a ship captian who had a key to more loot. She left the Argonian for last and when his back was turned she sneaked up behind him and ran her greatsword through his spine. Loaded with goods she returned to Solitude and sold it all for a profit.

Her pickpocketing improved as well. Even with her being a lowly thief for the guild she has mastered the skill. Weapons and armor now vanish from her prey and she even slipped a "better then thou" thalmor a poison in the Markarth palace. This set him into a frenzy and the guards were forced to kill him. Nariko smirked with delight from the shadows before taking her leave of Markarth.

While trying to get to the top of a mountain outside Riftin, Nariko ended up entering a tower. An attractive witch asked for her help in killing her mother and Nariko was more then willing to help. Trolls died and witches heads rolled as Nariko battled her way to the top of the tower. The encounter with the young witch's mother was not as epic as Nariko hoped. The old woman did not even get a shot in as the mighty orc rushed to her and cut off her head as she ran by. Nariko had a spare robe that was much better then the one the daughter have so she dressed her in it, gave her some good weapons and now the two are best friends. After that adventure though, Nariko took a break and was last seen walking into Honeyside house in Riftin.

Deleted my female archer, mage, swordswoman.

Her defence was pathetic.
The whole game went weird.
It's like whole groups of enemies jumped in dificulty for no reason.
She could shoot people ok. But when they hit her they took out half her HP. Low bandits, one hit, she had half a bar.
Could'nt hit to save her life.
She had perks in light armour, one handed weapons, archery, magic, etc. All things she was supposed to.
But things my redguard could do with ease at level 23, she died if they so much as looked at her.
The easiest dificulty, same as the redguard.
it was just weird.

So I deleted her.

Then I made a female dunmer.
Who did'nt look right.
Deleted her.

Then I made a male dunmer. He looked like a sumo wrestler with weight at max.
I thought it would add muscle, it made him look wierd.
He looked like he'd drunk half a brewery the night before. Did my best but he looked hungover whatever I did.
Deleted him.

The dunmer heads and necks for both sixes are too small and skinny. They look too ropey looking.
Both of them the heads and necks did'nt look right.

The male dunmer hair is too flat.

Made a male nord.
Did'nt like him.
The eyes went weird in making him, one was grey, one was blurry brown. They all looked the same, like only one was loading and only loading partially.
And some of the beards! A knot in a beard?!
Could'nt help but think of a joke from the film 8 Legged Freaks, about the lead males beard looking like a strippers crotch, when looking at some, lol.

Made a male argonian.
The eyes still went weird, but I pinned a set down.

He went right.

Dravatine Leiocho (Snake Bite, Acid Cleavers)

Pure magic mage. Wears robes, clothes, and light armour if he has to. Mostly robes.
Duel weilds magic. Has a one handed weapon for use when magic does'nt work.

Blue skin, green eyes, horns and spikey head, red upp cheeks, yellow lower cheeks, green warpaint, red forhead, purple lips, purple eyeshadow.
Got to level 8 now.

Going to get all to max, apart from heavy armour, and 2 handed weapons.
Magic levels up faster than anything else, most of the time, so it should force him up.
Will get the level 50 trophy with him.

Will wear robes or clothes most of the time. Keep a set of light armour for big battles.
It will be fun to see what male stuff looks like.

Shame Bethesda were too stupid to do the screamingly obvious and let you make robes or clothes.

Killed the stupid biatch Maiden-Loom in public. Paid the fine.
Going to destroy the Black-Briers and their allies as much as the game lets me.
Going to kill every annoying person I can. Publicly. If they won't die, I will steal every single thing they own and kill every single person that will die in their house and business.

Really want to kill the stupid biatch Haelga, but can't without doing part of the TG crap.

Found out a way to make the stupid get Brynjolf to shut up. Ignore him, and talk to someone else before the fragwit can say anything.
Shorts the fragwit out, no journal entry, nothing to do with the TG in your journal.

The males are not good compared to the females.
Were max weight makes females curvy, it makes males boxey.
I was hoping it would add muscle.

I wish you could see the character naked, so you will know what they look like, in creation.

That's possible on PC; "player.unequipitem 3c9fe".

Trying, and failing, to find if you can swap character skin color on the 360. Trying to make a "She-Hulk" nord to play around with, but can't do [censored] without a [censored] PC tool-kit.

This really starting to get annoying...even basic CC design is bare bones on consoles anymore. :swear:

Sigh, guess I'll have meta an orc to not be as pigfaced...

Edit: yeah, that ain't working either. Forgot orcs don't even have humanoid noses.

Sadly I don't have it on PC, it is on PS3. :(
I envy PC players, sometimes.
It would be good to be able to see what they look like naked when making them.
It would be nice to change the character and their gender midway, just to try stuff on or if they bored you.
Or to fix things you did'nt see when making them or that annoy you.

Deleted my argonian male. Did'nt like him.

Made a female orc pure magic mage.

Dravatina Luatcragjia (Devil Acid Maiden Blade, Lute Maiden Light)

All magic mage.
Uses duel wielding magic, staffs, a one handed wepaon if nessesery. Wears robes or clothes.
Will keep a set of light armour for big fights.
Has long red hair with a bun and bar at the top. Bronze eyes, light green skin.

Ignoring the prisoner intro.

A mage who objects to strongholds and travelled and lives with some rebels who set up their own stronghold, with rebels of all races, with their own terms.
Got seperated form her group while scouting, when a dwemer device exploded some mages were working on.
Hopes the others are ok, they probabely are.

Just travelling round, exploring, looking for adventure.

In a ill fated exploration, Drav went into a too high area, ran away from a spriggan and a bear, and found the nightgate inn. Ran inside.
Stayed inside, and was glad that spriggans don't track you like deathclaws.

So, managed to come up with a "reasonable" alternative She-Hulk character. Can't give her green skin since on the 360...but I'm just playing it off as she's "lost" some her normal hulk characteristics when she got pulled out of her universe and dumped in this one.

Still has her great strength, enormous health and stamina pool, and is still quite tall (used female nord to build off of). Primary weapon is just her fists (working on getting enchanting up so the unarmed skill enchantment won't svck) but I'm keeping a war hammer hotkeyed "just in case".

Named her Jennifer Walters, She-Hulks normal persona. And so far, the build has been quite a blast to play with. So fun, in fact, that I got to thinking of building Colossus out of a male nord. Which in turn has spurred even more ideas how to build other marvel character types later down the road.

So far, I've decided that a bulked out male breton with mutton chops could be used for Wolverine, spec'd for dual wielding axes and use as many health regen enchantments as possible to 100%.

Redguard female could be used for Storm with white hair and snow-blind white eyes (obviously) and spec'd for shock/frost destruction spells.

Jean Grey could be built out of a female breton and spec'd primarily as a pyromancer (for her Phoenix persona). Telekinesis isn't exactly well suited for combat, but could add to the build someway...

I'm still thinkign on others to make, but so far only Dr. Doom seems a viable candidate. Dragon priest masks lend a certain vibe towards his iconic look and shock mastery would be pretty much his bread and butter.

Not sure what spurred all this lately, but I'm having a blast plotting and scheming on these builds.

Editting this to say I happened to realize Thor can also be built. A shock enchanted mace would do it for him.

Sigyn relaxed in the hot springs in Eastmarch after slaying a dragon. Then she met this nice woman in Darkwater Crossing, and decided to do some bandit slaying, hoping Anneke will help her on her travels afterwards (Anneke sure sounded a bit bored with mining). It would be nice to have another woman around for a change, it seems like Sigyn's only been hanging out with men since she came to Skyrim. She likes men, but she's getting tired of catching them trying to sneak-peak at her every time she's having a bath.

Explored a bit. Showed why she is known as Dravatina The Destroyer, by incinerating many enemies in fire.

Punched Mikael out. She's a orc, she hits hard. She might kill him.
Punched out Rollf. WIll kill him later. Publicly.

Cleared skyrim of some nasty pieces of work.
Did some killing in the marketplace.
Killed the obnoxious Maiden-Loom biatch with a fire scimitar called Jai Kgai(Black Lenses).
Killed Nazeem with Jai Kgai.
Paid off the fines. Then a stupid guard appeared and asked if she had seen anything, twice.
Morons.
Tried killing Heimskr, but it freaked out. Paid the fine, still got attacked.
Will go back later.
Heimskr will die. Publicly.

Killed the shipwreckers.
Joined the collage of winterhold.

Looking for Hobs Cave, getting it done as fast as I can before Ranmir mysteriously dies. Find Isabelle Rolaine quest did'nt show in the log, so no marker.

For some unthinkable reason, got a DB assassin sent after me. At that point I had done nothing to cause it. I had killed some bandits and helped people and that was it. So no reason to try to kill me. Stupid.

for the same reason, my female altmer character travels with Aela or Lydia. i'll let her explain some recent events:

I've been trying my hand at different crafts recently, and i have discovered a new talent. I was having some wine in the Bannered Mare with Lydia and one of the guards, when i saw a women wearing a silver pendant with a ruby embedded in the centre. this gave me an idea.
I spoke to Alvor in Riverwood, who showed me how to craft metals into weapons and other objects. I had found a nice ingot of Gold and a high-quality Diamond a little while ago, and i crafted a beautiful pendant. That evening, after i added a small enchantment to boost energy, i headed back to the peaceful atmosphere of Breezehome. I walked over to the master bedroom, where Aela was sleeping peacefully. i gently woke her and strung the necklace around her neck. She was delighted at the gift.

The next morning, i set out with Aela, leaving Lydia to watch over the house and do some small errands around town. We headed to Riften to investigate the Ratways, searching for a man named Esbern. When we found him, we escorted him back to Riverwood. he helped Delphine and I find Sky Haven Temple, but i had to CUT myself! ugh, those blood seals are horrible ideas.

When we returned home, Lydia seemed eager to join the Blades. i will escort her to the temple sometime.
I set out to climb High Hrothgar, to speak to the greybeards about the information on Alduin's Wall. after Arneigr told me about the Throat of the World, i climbed it successfully (but i was almost blown off the mountain at one point). after speaking to the master of the Greybeards, Parthurnaax, i set out to find the Elder Scroll.

Aela and I then decided to spend some time together, and we spent some time walking through the woods, and she showed me a nice secluded hot spring. We went in, and just sat there watching the stars together. at one point, a bandit thought he could sneak over and watch us, no doubt hoping we were naked, so i shot him through the knee. that is one of the reasons why i don't travel with men. Plus, Aela is a fiercer warrior than any other man, mer, or beast

Crwth and lydia wandered the reach, far from their destination of Riften. At a fork in the road they witnessed a fierce battle between three orsmer hunters and five forsworn, not knowing if either was friendly they let the battle end it self. The near naked reachmen and women were victorious...only to be struck down moments latter by Crwth's volley of arrows. Seeing nothing of value on the corpses our heroes pressed farther onward.

After a while they came across a mine captured by orc and nord bandits. Although they were outnumbered, Crwth and lydia struck down the bandit. Also shot one of them off the stairs with unrelenting force.

I restarted Nariko the female Orc on my PC now that I have one worthy to play SKyrim on. As soon as I get a site to upload pics I'll have a few.

Her duplicate on the PS3 hasn't been to busy lately. Did some odd jobs for the thieve's guild including a raid on Mjoll's house. Nariko was prepared to pick the lock and enter the home but Mjoll exited as she approached. Nariko thought she would pick Mjoll's pockets but her buy shadow showed up and wouldn't go away. Getting rather frustrated, Nariko came up with the idea of asking Mjoll if she wanted to go on and adventure still. Mjoll was eager but had no idea what was in store. With Mjoll occupied, her buy shadow returned home and Nariko politely asked Mjoll to trade some things with her. In the shuffle Nariko took Mjoll's key and together they went to Mjoll's home.

It did not seem to trouble Mjoll that Nariko took several nice things from her home, infact she was eager to carry them out the door. She even tagged along unknowingly into the thieve's den and did not notice when Nariko passed the items to Vex. Nariko had come to realise that despite their slack jaws, Orc were smarter then Nords and took her lieve of Mjoll who to this moment still has no idea she helped rob herself and give her things to the guild while Nariko pocketed 500 gold pieces.

^ That's hilarious.

As of right now, She-Hulk has officially started to wage war against alduin and his evil lackey's. She's wondering what's so scary about them, though. Thanos is tougher than these things....

Fellglow Keep.
The conjurers are using vampires as training practice to better focus their magic.
Niamh doesn't like vampires.
She also doesn't like Conjurers.

being of an inquiring mind, she wondered what would happen if she were to string up a conjurer and practice her archery.
Guess what? an arrow to the face will off you far quicker than a shock spell.
Which is why she didn't aim for the head...

What do we learn from this?
Well our little wood elf may not have much in the way morals, but she's not averse to evening the score...
Seems only fair, after all.

Jelissa is taking the opportunity to check out Sovngarde after finally slaying Alduin. It's nice to chat a little with Kodlak, too. She'll be sure to tell Vilkas about it when she gets home. The old man was practically a grandfather to him, after all.

Axe The Cleaver has had a crazy idea, Charging by an enemy while on Horseback should mean that the Axe will cleave better, She just needs to get a few more Septims to afford to try out her theory. She begins to question why no one has thought about Armoring a Horse or a Mammoth and charging thier enemies with the beasts?

Crwth and lydia finished their assault on the glemoral witch coven. They collected the grisly heads of the witches and set off for whiterun. Once their they found the jorvaskar (bad spelling i apologize) had been attacked by the silver hand! Vilkas crwth and lydia found the purity of revenge as they slaughtered every last silver hand in their stronghold outside dawnstar. They started the return trip for kodlack's funeral

Jen's suspicions about Delphine were correct. Esbern's just as bad...The Greybeards warning about the Blades bloodlust and penchant for manipulation were correct. She has no intention of being their lackey, or killing Paarthurnax.

Same goes for Jelissa. "So you want me kill this dragon I've just befriended? You want me to kill a friend of mine? Ain't gonna happen."

Jelissa went back to Breezehome after defeating Alduin, but she felt restless and unable to relax, so she decided to take Lydia with her on a minor bounty job, killing a couple of giants nearby. Unfortunately, Lydia was killed during the job. Jelissa wasn't as griefstruck as one might have thought - Lydia's been behaving very strange lately, hanging out in the master bedroom, eating bread and reading "The Beggar Prince" over and over. Maybe this was for the best, Jelissa thought as she went home, she's probably happier in Sovngarde.

Now Jelissa's sitting by the fire in Breezehome with Vilkas, telling him all about Sovngarde and the final fight with Alduin. And there we'll leave them.

Maybe I send her on new adventures someday. After all, she still has some things on her to-do-list. And maybe she should join the war, to put an end to it. But for now, she needs some vacation.

Wish Delphine and Esbern were killable. Had to settle for shouting them both off the mountain instead. :lmao:

Jen has just arrived in Sovengarde, and is taken aback how closely it resembles her friend Thor's home, "Asgard". Perhaps her theory of being svcked into an alternate dimension is right...If so, she worry's how she's going to get home. For now, the immediate threat needs to be dealt with.
