I'm taking my time doing the main quest, as well as finding new side quests (put in over 700 hrs), or just exploring new areas - or re-explore previously cleared ones that have respawned - with my current follower Illia (who's proving to be quite capable). Also, taking my time with the TG (I get a kick that they're right under the Jarl's nose!). The civil war is on a tenuous hold (I've joined the Imperial legion), while I sort out how I'd like to see it end. I like to savor Skyrim. :)

I did the Snow Veil Sanctum part fo the TG, and now my character is at the Frozen Hearth. Sun hasn't risen yet, but there's no time to do anything before it does. She caught some strange disease, died from it, and now catches on fire if she goes outside during daytime

Yes, she's become vampire. A modded vampire, i read the UESP article on Skyrim's vampirism, laughed my ass off and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=16691 before purposely cathcing it. Makes for an interesting change in gameplay. Should propably look for a similar mod for werewolf-ism(?).

Sorry for the mini-rant, but only no health regeneration during day time by default? Why is this game so scared of punishing the player? If i act like a [censored], i want the game to slap me for being a [censored].

Figuring out how to kill a cook inside a imperial fort without upsetting the imperials. I know. I have a imperial uniform I wear that.

I just found my horse (I done some camera tweaks so I ride a horse in first person. Not perfect but better then a poke at the eye with a stick) after given a horse for next to nothing. Those damn horses are a bit too flighty ain't they.

My longplay character Brunjild Hanin was attacked by a Mad Adventurer near Helgen. She read the crazed persons Journal and tried to help an Imperial and a Stormcloak Soldier who decided to work together to aid survivors of a Dragon attack, but the Imperial named Hadvir died. She accompanied Ralof to the small village of Riverwood, but She is worried about the description of the dragon that destroyed Helgen.

Sonja the Red has decided to distance herself from Ulfric, She has decided to join the College of Winterhold. She realises that Skyrim needs a knowledge of Magic for the coming war, and is hoping that her joining the College may allow others to drop thier fears of Mages and Magic. She has read the Songs of Wulfrath, and sees the errors of her fellow Dragonborn at Red Mountain.

My newest character, Axe the Cleaver is having a difficult time because of Giant Frostbite Spiders. She has not survived past level four because of the eight legged mod induced menaces to lower level characters (and my insistence on her dual wielding axes).

I lost my will to continue the mage/archer I was working on. Thinking about making a thief/archer, for the millionth time, it's just my forte but I lack the motivation to actually begin.

Gi'Anna (female Khajiit Warrior, main toon), Arkved (male Altmer Mage), and Maylissa (female Imperial Cleric) are all still on hold.

Conan (male Nord Warrior/Thief), however, is adventuring. He decided to go for a walk, and stumbled upon a dungeon full of Draugr. He managed to make it all the way through, calling on his Stealth and Archery skills to great effect. Of course, brute force was needed at times and in direct open conflict, those pesky Draugr still can't mob their way past his Steel Armor and Steel Sword. Before he left the dungeon, he discovered a puzzling set of stones with a fish on one, and a snake on the other. He successfully solved the puzzle and found several hidden chambers and corridors. There was decent loot to be found throughout the entire dungeon, and he quickly sold it to War Maiden's in Whiterun. Conan is saving for Proudspire Manor in Solitude, and so far he's making financial progress with his adventures. He's taking a few days off, and he thinks he might just pay the Thieves' Guild a visit for some more work when he's ready.

Rurik, the lvl 62 Redguard polymath, just joined the DB, and Companions, and is tying up some loose ends in the misc quest department, most recently he managed to fix the White Phial and returned a dwemer lexicon to a ruin. He is half way through the main quest, halfway through the Mages guild, and completed the Thieves Guild about 20 levels ago. He also championed the Stormcloaks to victory.

Jorvic the lvl 6 warrior just discovered he is dragonborn and is trying to work out what to do about it. He arrived in Skyrim looking for his father, and a place to settle down, and now he doesn't know which way is up. Having helped a group of warriors kill a giant, he is considering joining them to hone his skills. As far as the civil war goes, he doesn't know who to side with, he grew up in Cyrodiil, so the empire is favoured, but certain conversations have troubled him.

Serren the lvl 9 Breton Nightblade is skulking in Riften, doing jobs for the Thieves guild, and is about to make a trip to Whiterun. She recently made a trip by cart to Winterhold but she doesn't think much of archaeology and isn't very interested in visiting some dumb excavation. And she wasn't too happy about having to walk all the way to Windhelm to get a carriage back home, either.

And if that's not quite enough, J'Kari the lvl 1 Khajiit assassin is just about ready to claw out the eyes of every Imperial in Helgen...

Shadow, the blonde Nord fighter, is resting up after the Civil War. She's doing some light adventuring with Belrand, and she quite likes him, but she's still in mourning for Janessa. And Stenvar. And Roggi. Worried that another death might unhinge her completely, an anonymous friend gifted her with a power from the Nexus Plane that allows her to keep her friends alive more easily. Currently, she is working on upgrading their equipment and supplies in preparation for the trip to High Hrothgar. Before that trip, though, the two of them must journey to Shadowgreen Cavern to retrieve a veteran's lost helmet.

She's been using the mace that Molag Bal coerced her into earning, and the longer she uses it, the more she feels a darkness tugging at her. She's still on the side of good, but she's starting to wonder if Daedra are evil or merely... misunderstood.

We are journeying to Riften, slowly and indirectly.
We have Azura's star - and she'll get it, when we get back there...

Sonja and J'zargo are on their way back to Dawnstar to investigate rumors of nightmares. Perhaps they can get to the bottom of it, and if she's lucky, sonja might get to cleave something in half with her greatsword...or zap it to dust with lightning...she's really getting restless and bored of bandits.

Sigyn had a couple of interesting days. In Whiterun, she ended up getting the axe she was suppose to deliver back, together with a quite depressing message. She's not looking forward to report back to Ulfric, but she have decided to do what she always does when she's nervous, she'll keep her head high, and tell him not to shoot the messenger.

Then she went to Riverwood, to discover a thing or two about a certain innkeeper, who urged her to travel to Kynesgrove. It was alreday evening, so Sigyn had been looking forward to a hot meal and a bed at the Inn, but instead she found herself on the road again. Delphine had given her a day or two, so she decided to stop by High Hrotgar and leave the horn to Arngeir. Luckily, she found an abandoned horse outside Whiterun, but it was still in the middle of the night when she finally stepped into the monastery.

She didn't mention Delphine when she spoke with Arngeir. She had a feeling she shouldn't. The Greybeards greeted her officially as Dovahkiin, and then she fell into a bed and slept a few hours, far to few, but she had to get up and go to Kynesgrove.

She arrived there just in time. Then followed a dragonfight, and the impressed Delphine told Sigyn all she wanted to know. Well, almost.
Evening had fallen again. Sigyn passed through Kynesgrove, pvssyd with a guy named Roggi, who was nice but had a bad breath, probably due to all the mead-drinking he was talking about. She slept in the little shack by the river, it's currently functioning as her homebase, and in the morning she headed to Windhelm.

LOL!!! Forgive me for that I am laughing. You know that saying 'Be careful what you think it will happen.' Well that happened to my character Hanne the Scarred just before I made dinner for myself.

My character went into the Sightless Pitt minding her own business doing this and doing that. The final chest before she exited the Sightless Pitt she found something. That something is a object is in a different place when you start a new game. This object starts of a quest. My last two playthroughs I have to visit a place to find it. This time I found the object without visiting the place to start the quest to find the object.
Spoiler
The object is Meridia Beacon.

Jaree-Ra now lies dead in some gods-forsaken cave in Skyrim's northernmost reaches; his sister Deeja was slain below-deck on a wrecked ship not far from Solitude. Carla doesn't feel any remorse for them - they crossed her, and they payed for it. Dearly.

Carla and Vorstag are now hauling their loot through Haafingar's snowy mountains, headed to Solitude. From there they will head to Riften, a city said to be home to the Thieves Guild. Carla has no intention of joining any guild, but at least she'll be relatively safe from the law in the city of thieves. At least until this whole Icerunner business has blown over.

Currently spending the day in the cave below Robber's Gorge. The downside of being vampire is that you need to spend a lot of time waiting for the damn sun to set. On the positive side, being careful she has an eternity of nights to hunt in  http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197988732882/screenshot/595845186241442218/?

11 days have passed since she died, and her power and skills are growing ever stronger, with no one being the wiser of her nature, not Astrid, not Brynjolf, not Karliah.

And come nightfall the next assassination target's eternal unlife will end...

My femal dark elf has just finished the long journey from Riften to Solitude to speak with Gulum-Ei as part of the TG quest line. She does not fast travel and this was the longest journey thus far. At least she was able to line up a few misc. quests along the way so that it wasn't just one long walk. Traveled through Dawnstar and stayed the night there, then on through Morthal and then to Solitude. It took right around 2 game days. Could have been less had I pushed it, but figured the long travel should be rewarded with good food, some ale and rest.

While I'm in the area, I'm giving serious consideration to joining the Legion. But first, I'm going to stalk a lizard.

Well it's been an eventful day - Niamh has bumped off that old crone in the orphanage, got Frost - "The best horse in all of Skyrim" - killed. Liberated some of the Gauldur Amulet, ignored that cretin Bjornulf, and cleared a mine of spiders.
She likes to keep busy at the moment, stops her from thinking too much...
