What could the 'other interesting FNV-related items' be?

Post » Thu Aug 11, 2011 11:26 am

The two most likely would be a dlc with all of the pre order packs or announcement of a GOTY edition. Another dlc seems very unlikely although it would be sweet, and I can't see Bethesda announcing anything about the next fallout game until after skyrim has been out for a while.

No.

Besides, can we not play New Vegas and those games? I know I will (well, the last 3).

I'd love DLC. Quest packs, with random encounters added... Never going to happen, however. Nor will a sequel. It'll be something boring.

Maybe they are adding more prosttutes to the game. Or fixing it so I can sleep with the ghoul again once I get my room.

Either a free pack/more DLCs, pre-order items like the canteen or weathered 10 mm pistol, and/or the most likely one.

New Vegas GOTY announcement.

Jason say a couple items

While I still think it's unlikely we'll get any significant content, this quote keeps popping into my head.

Jason Bergman when asked about Fallout 4 several months ago:

Not much is known about the setting of Fallout 4 so far. When asked to give hints as to the setting of the next Fallout game, Jason Bergman said (translated from Norwegian), "You'll get no tips from me. But the Mojave Wasteland was a fun place to explore, wasn't it?"

So, I guess possibly an expansion.

I"m sorry, but I doubt there will be an expansion, unless of course you want to wait another year before its released

But the mojave wasn't all that fun exploring, so little was actually worth exploring.

I've also said it's highly unlikely, but you never know.

Indeed. Probably shouldn't read too much into it, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Yeah I'm definitely betting it's a "Game of the Year" edition with all the DLC, but also hopefully they do announce the preorder DLC will be available for purchase as well. I'd pay $5 for all 4 packs. Do you hear that Bethesda/Obsidian? FREE MONEY!!!

Any hope for a disc-based release of the four DLC packs rather than (or in addition to) a GOTY Pimp-Boy-3,000,000 Edition?

Also possible (and cheaper/faster to produce) would be a discounted all-four-DLCs pass/package available online. (And if they threw in the pre-order packs as well, they could even sell it to some people who already have the first three...)

It's be nice if they had a DLC/expansion pack that featured the Legion more. Unlike the NCR, it's pretty obvious that the Legion is never going to be in another Fallout game. And their such a interesting faction, it seems like they really deserve some more focus. Or a DLC that adds upgraded enemies to the wasteland like broken steel.

But like everyone said, it's probably just going to be the Special all-DLC-included version that's useless to people that bought the DLC's when they came out.
