What could the 'other interesting FNV-related items' be? : Fallout: New Vegas

Although I'm unhappy that Lonesome Road has been http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1219474-update-on-lonesome-road-release-date/, there was one thing in the statement that caught my eye:

We’ll be announcing the final date, along with a couple of other interesting FNV-related items in the near future.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be? More DLC perhaps? Even though I doubt that, I'd LOVE to see more DLC.
And if it's not DLC, what else could it be? Are they working on a sequel? Could it be something else? Or just an announcement of a FNV GOTY Edition?

Either a free pack/more DLCs, pre-order items like the canteen or weathered 10 mm pistol, and/or the most likely one.

Mostly likely the "other interesting FNV-related items" are the GOTY edition. I would be stunned if it was another DLC. If they released another DLC, they would almost have to allow play to continue after Hoover Dam. I just can't see that happening. I also can't see them squeezing in another DLC questline into the story thats already there.

Here's a thought, how about FNV merchandise. A Muggsy coffie mug. Actual FNV snowglobes.... collect them all.... only 29.95 each!!! :celebration: FNV t-shirts and posters. the list can go on forever lol :hubbahubba:

It's possable but I'm not sure how many people would spend money on a stuff pack. It would be great for console players, but pc players already have alot of mods for that type of thing.

I'm very happy with what Obsidian has done, and how Bethesda allowed them to do it.

It won't be a sequel, they specifically said Fallout: New Vegas related things, not Fallout related stuff, and Skyrim isn't out yet. They won't take away attention from Skyrim, and they wouldn't want attention towards Fallout to be taken by Skyrim.

Best case scenario: A full expansion that comes out in a year from now, Adding some quests to mainland Mojave as well as new regions to go to.

Likely scenario: Special edition with all DLCs, pre order packs for very cheap, or stupid Xbox stuff. I'd actually say a patch is tons more likely.

Well Microsoft limits the number of free DLC's a game can have. I don't know the exact number, maybe 2 or 3.
