like the title says what craftable items would you like to see?

top things id like to see-

-wasteland crossbow- crutch, scrap metal, surgical tubbing, duct tape
-crossbow bolts- pool cue- makes 5 bolts
-AP crossbow bolts- 5 empty syringes, pool cue- DT -5, weakness to poison +25% (makes 5)

-nuka-grenade- 3 nuka-cola, tin can, cherry bomb, abraxo cleaner (such a fun weapon to run around with)
-25mm version- nuka-cola, scrap metal, pistol powder (havent thought of how much) abraxo cleaner (makes 10)
-40mm version- nuka-cola, scrap metal, rifle powder (havent thought of how much) abraxo cleaner (makes 5)

-armor repair kits- 2 tanned geck hide, scrap metal, scrap electronics- repairs hats, helmets, armor, and clothes. not glasses

-(armor/clothing mod) gecko reinforcing- 2 tanned gecko hide- increases item condition

-night vision goggles (either by themselves or as an helmet mod)- biker goggles, camera, sensor module

-ability to craft leather armor- 5 tanned gecko hides

-ability to craft metal armor- leather armor, 5 scrap metal

thats all i've got at the moment

edit: personly i think we have more than enough food so thats why i didnt add any food recipes except for a beer recipe (i collect beer :foodndrink: . dont ask)

I would like the rail gun to be an option again.

A nerfed dart gun would be nice as well (perhaps to slow down targets for 10 seconds and less damage)

Like the OP stated a armour repair kit would be usefull and nightvision in the form of goggles or in a helmet would kick butt.

Something to do with hammers. I do not think I have seen any recipes with it yet.

Should reintroduce recepies from Fallout 3 for a start, no reason why we can't have them back. At the very least the rock-it launcher should make a return.

I can sum up my wish list for craftables in three words: Explosives, explosives and explosives. I'd like to see more home made bombs, different kinds of explosives too. Fragmentation, Mustard Gas, Chlorine Gas, Tear Gas, Percusion, Concussion and something involving nuclear explosives.

I'd also like some kind of home made ordinence launcher. Something like the Dart Gun that could fire home made explosives.

Agreed, exposives as a skill is simply too expensive to maintain at higher levels (Grenade launchers and grenade machineguns plus the ammo aren't cheap and can run dry very quickly), so some kind of homemade explosive that can be easily made would be appreciated. tbh, I was surprised the fire bomb from HH wasn't craftable.

This. This game NEEDS the rock it launcher, especially now I can shoot a bible at people. And gold bars if you dont mind the insane weight.

Also railway rifle, I miss it, and let us make railway rifle ammo from scrap metal. I hated how rare ammo was for it in fallout 3.

And a deathclaw gauntlet, need a use for DC hands. Then I can show off to the sorrows, you guai aint got nothing on deathclaws.

I was thinking of being able to craft armor similar to Gecko-backed armors. It would be cool to be able to reinforce armor by youself using scrap metal. Here is the recipe I was thinking of:

"Reinforce Current Armor/Clothing"
Repair 80
Scrap Metal x10

Doing this would increase the DT of whatever clothing you are wearing by 3, sans unique armors such as Remnants Power Armor or Joshua's Armor. I was thinking that the max you can reinforce armor is to Mk 2, which would require 90 Repair. :)

That's not actually as impossible as one might think, I've seen plenty of mods out there where people can assemble sentry bots etc using various parts and they work perfectly as escort, so the AI definitely can handle it. I think doing so should be very costly to the player i.e. a lot of components and that you can only have a certain number of robotic guardians at any single time (2 would be reasonable) and you can perhaps upgrade them with even more components or perhaps even sacrifice weapons to make them stronger i.e. a standard sentry bot only come with a minigun, you can give up a missile launcher to upgrade its missle arm and then a gatling laser to replace the minigun. You might even sacrifice a decent set of armour to increase its DT and sensor modules/cameras to upgrade its accuracy etc. Considering the interview on OWB confirmed that the player will be able to 'build weapons in the Sink', there's no reason why we can't do the same with robots.

I'd rather have one companion that I built from scraps I found in the Big Empty. We could start out with just a single component, like just the brain or something and then construct the rest of the companion as we went. We could even decide which components to add, like tanks treads for increased durablility, but reduced speed, or different weapons systems. Maybe we would even be allowed to name our creation.

prett much his quest is just to complete him, that would be pretty cool. as for the naming part that sounds pretty good too i wish they would have let us name our own weapons after we modded them

I will write it again, let's put that high science and repair skill to work, and build traps, reprogram robots to be cannon fodder, and be able to cobble together some Strategic Mobile Anti-personel Robotic Turrets. You can go far with S.M.A.R.Ts. :batman:

They've already inroduced the Gas Bomb for explosives but yes a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzerfaust from Lead Pipe, Plunger, shotgun powder and a landmine (with damage of the weapon depending on the type of landmine used) might be interesting to see.

A Guns skill Speargun using Throwing spears for ammo that could use single application poisons.

A Back Pack usng two belts, a few hides and such. You can't equip weapons while wearing it and slows you to a walk but lets you fast travel when carrying 100 weight past your normal encumbrance.

Being able to create a camp site with a camp fire, bed, etc.

That sounds like it would require a lot of different physical permutations, not something i'd expect the devs would bother with. It'd be cool if we can do that but I highly doubt it.

I like that crossbow idea OP. Maybe not pool cue bolts though.

As for me: I would like the ability to take the head of a Deathclaw and turn it into a helmet.

i kill fiends when i get really bored of scavanging, and i noticed a lot of them uses pool cues and i was trying to think of a good use for them. maybe pool cues and either scrap metal or knives to make throwing spears
