I chose the classic because of the canteen and the binoculars. They seem to be the most useful.

I didn't bother pre-ordering. The bonus packs didn't seem all that interesting.

The place I always order from only has the Classic pack. Would have preferred Mercenary, but I'll take what I can get.

lol thats not the only reason to pre-order. For the hardcoe fans that have waited a long time for this. If you didnt pre-order you are sure to not get a copy for a few days after. The game still cost the same, but you get it the day it arives in stores Guarented. Along with the fact that you get good things to start your adventure for basicly... free.

All stores will have plenty of copies of Fallout NV on release, some people don't like giving companies interest free loans.

Actually, all the armors are pre-order exclusives. No doubt there's variations of them, but the ones in the pre-order bonuses are exclusive.

I chose the classic not because I'm lazy, but because I have finely tuned economy of energy. I was at EB one day and just figured what the hell. and ordered CE. I didn't care which pack. Ok. Maybe I am lazy.

Im getting the Caravan from Steam. I didnt really pre-order for the extra starting content. I pre-ordered because its a bit cheaper than buying it after release and I would have ended up buying it on release day anyway. The starting content itself will become outdated rather quickly except for maybe the machine grenade gun. You will be able to find non-unique variations of the weapons, and probably armor, within the game.

The whole family has pre ordered fallout from all differnt suppliers and im getting all the codes myself. That's kinda nice.

But can you play using

Caravan
Classic
Merc
Tribal

at the same time?

The real question is would we want to? FNV is going to be considerably easier with one pack helping you out at the start, with multiple its just going to be a cakewalk through the entire game.

If you are asking if its possible then yes you can use multiple packs within one save game.

What if you pre-ordered from Gamestop?

EDIT: Whoops, nevermind. Guess I'll be getting the Classic.

I wish I'd gotten the Tribal pack though. I'm a svcker for the Throwing Spears.

I (just) got the classic pack yesterday right before the gamestop closed. For a couple reasons.

1. It's been confirmed that the Vault 13 Canteen is a (the only?) unique (that is, without a "normal" variant) preorder item in the game. Not to mention every little bit will help on my hardcoe run
2. Gamestop is like a 3-5 minute drive from my house.
3. ???
4. Profit.

Honestly, I'd have preferred to get the Caravan pack, for the shotgun, or the Mercenary pack, because Mercs are cool (see my avatar/sig), or even the tribal pack because of the poisons/spears... but because of number 1 and number 2, the Classic pack just made the most sense.

I will be getting the caravan pack because the lightweight leather armour looks great (and from what I've seen it's exclusive), the binoculors look interesting and I'd like my character's backstory to be that he's a guy who simply tries to survive and get by in the waste doing a little trading or one or two deliveries and ends up getting dragged into this massive adventure

I have the Caravan pack. Though, I didn't buy for the preorder bonus since most of the time I don't use the beginner's weapon for very long.

Caravan pack, because in my opinion, the Shotgun and leather armour (and binoculars too) are iconic post apocalyptic items. I want my character to be a lone walker, relying on only himself for the most part.
