what everyone thinks should be added to Skyrim

Um, with a co-op thread still on the first page, why did you feel a need to create another one?

Anyways, I do not want co-op.

As for riding dragons, I'd only want it if it came with mounted combat and spears/lance. Of course, that's not going to happen as long as cities remain in separate world spaces.

Too late for Co-op, if that is just "patched in", it'll be a total mess.

They can add a much wider variety of spells. Hell, any veteran mage can tell you that constant damage spells are often better than instant damage spells. Back in morrowind, it was far more efficient to use 5 damage for 5 seconds over 25 damage for 1 second. Maybe that's why some of those higher tier spells are so stupidly expensive? Scaling would be nice, too.

Not so much adding as removing, but lockpicking... Really? Combine it with Pickpocketing and call it security. Also, add something new... like tumbling. Call it acrobatics for old times sake. It's not trained by just jumping, though, but by doing some kinds of maneuvers in combat. So... add some kind of dodge roll capability or something, more than that silly sneak run thing.

Smithing could use some love. And by love, I mean proper implementation. This has been done to death, look it up.

Where my spears at?

UI needs too look nice. And let me sort it, darnit! PLENTY of unused buttons when at the UI screen!

Possible to add viewable character in the equip screen? Kinda like morrowind did? Not necessary, but a nice fun touch.

Perk trees for races would be nice. Say, every 5 levels, you get a racial perk? Branch it in a way so that you can't max it out, even at level 81. Obviously, perks would be gained retroactively for pre-existing characters.

You know that follower AI overhaul mod? Adopt it. Make it official.

Hell, while you're at it, get those guys who did the comprehensive bug fix mod and HIRE THEM. And then have them fix all the bugs.

I believe this was posted before that one.

/me facepalms

They're asking what everyone's opinions are on what should be added, not stating that everyone wants feature xyz...

I think they should but a Smithing limit on items. For example: You can only craft and upgrade a Daedric Sword only to do 150 damage (Or how much they want to) so that expansions that add new weapons wont be useless. I think they should also add capes that can be enchanted. I also think that they should not make leveling your crafting skills level you up. Every time you level up you choose a crafting perk (If you have the level for it) and regular perk (Heavy Armor, Archery, etc...). Because of your crafting skills, you level up way too fast in this game.

Do not really need co-op when you got The Elder Scrolls Online coming.

That's two entirely different things.

It would be nice if Bethesda made either a best of pack or individual popular mods for the pc available for console users!

Possibly, although it would take some doing to make sure any mods they release are all completely compatible with each other.

I don't exactly know how that works legally, though. I'm not sure if by using the CK or modifying the game in any way, that the modder aggrees that Bethesda can take that mod and sell it to people - and neither Microsoft nor Sony are likely to agree to free mods.

Co-op nope.

What I would like added as part of a larger expansion pack is spell creation and our back catalog of spells. We need spell creation so we can combine our spells and create other spells that is useful to our build and then the other spells add even more options and diversity and that increases role play value for any mage you make.

Also any other new land masses, and new cities maybe even expanses cities would be great or just add new landmasses with new cities would be fine.

Other continents are a bad idea. TES is pretty much a western-style RPG. Adding in places like Akavir would disturb that. Akavir and Akaviri artifacts are meant to be "foreign" and from "someplace else".

I would like to see other places on Nirn after we have seen all of Tamriel get their own games, we have yet to even see mainland Morrowind yet.

Morrowind didn't let you wander over the whole of the province?

If I had the choice between Skyrim co op and The Elder Scrolls Online, I would go with Skyrim co op. Obviously I haven't played The Elder Scrolls Online so I could be completely wrong, But Skyrim co op sounds more fun. Plus I'm not big on MMO's.

I agree COMPLETELY. Co-op between a small group of players is a totally different thing than an MMO taking place in a world shared by thousands.

I know that is why I said "we have yet to see mainland Morrowind."
The game Morrowind was confined to Vvardenfell Island.

What I would like to see is the entire province and see how Vvardenfell has changed and then we have mainland Morrowind along with it, that would be epic. I really do want to see the mainland and see how that place had changed after the crumbling of the empire and the red year. Then there was the fall of the great houses and Tribunal. It would very interesting.

I want a magic creation system. Some new upgradable weapons, like the scimitars the red guards have and even new melee weapons like spears, falcatas, halberds, rapiers and maybe flails. New range weapons, throwing knives, throwing axes, ninja stars etc.

im all for co-op, then both my partner and i could play it together and she wouldn't be so lost. but i wouldn't like an online co-op. fletching i kind of expected to be in the game, as a part of smithing. and the ability to enchant our own ammunition which i have heard rumors saying you can do this with bolts. new spells for each type of casting, such as turn undead rune or paralyze rune. maybe a frenzy/fear rune.

more weapons!!!! also throwing knives and stuff would be cool. I think a hunger, thirst, and sleep meter would be cool for rping. oh and what happened to silver weapons and armor? I think the racial perk tree someone mentioned is also a great idea

It should be do-able. I'm not sure about the rights issue as far as creators of the mods but there are professional corporate people paid to sort those things out with the help of lawyers so I won't bother speculating further. I would gladly pay to have access even to even just a few mods on a console and if a little of that money went to the mods creators or back to the developer great.

thing about mods.... a fair amount of us play on consoles w/o the luxury of availability of mods.
