My only problem with Fallout 3 was that it was too easy. I hoped and hoped some more that New Vegas was a lot harder. It is more challenging (I think) but it's still not that great. I actually find it a lot better than 3. I usually don't wish for things from one game to the next. I think the important thing is that it's just a great game with a different experience.

How did you wnatthe game to differ from FO3 ? Before Nv came out what did you ask the makers to put in the game or do to modify it ? And did you get what you asked for . ?

I asked that the game be bigger and it was, I also asked they fix the bugs and they didn't .

I asked for more colour. We definently got that. :)

I wanted more varied weapons and we got a few more of those as well. As for a bigger map, I don't think we got it, we actually have a smaller one. Maybe it is bigger, but I feel it's smaller which I can't explain. It just feels smaller, maybe because it seems more emptier. But I love New Vegas so I am not trying slag on the game. I just don't feel the map is bigger at all.

I think the map has more places perhaps it's the same size with more stuff in it that would explain the over use of invisible walls st separate everything

The actual map is larger, but it feels emptier because there are less dungeons and mobs to shoot.

No Weapons allowed locations and concealed weapons. Fans asked for Damage threshold and return of T-51b Power Armour. The Devs paid attention to alot of what the fans wanted.

I asked for Realism Mode, greater difficulty, more important SPECIAL and turn-based mode.
Didn't get any of those.

Really? Realism mode I can understand where you're coming from since in hardcoe food/drink is a little too common, but the game is definitely harder than FO3 (Murder Wasps!), and the SPECIAL stats are definitely more important too, what with the greatly increased skill/stat checks in dialog. And also how the various stats also give you bonuses like charisma boosting followers and such.

Anyway, I asked for an intelligently constructed world, more guns, and classic Advanced Power Armor. I got all of these things.

FO3 is not hard at all. I was pwning deathclaws with one hit with a crappy rifle.

In FNV, it took me TWO shots with a gauss.

Not for me at least. (No, I'm not trying to brag or anything.)
At level 30, scratch that, at level 20 it becomes a cake-walk once again since only 20% of the map is of any form of challenge to you.

SPECIAL has been improved. sure, but not nearly as improved as I hoped for.
In FO1 and FO2 it could really really hurt you if you picked 1 in a stat.
In FONV it's more like "Meh, I guess I'm going to be slightly worse in that area".
So yes, it has been improved, but improved enough? Not in my opinion.

Makes no sense they brought the 'ballcap with glasses' to player domain, and yet they left the eyepatch out :stare:

? T-51b was in Fallout 3. Two of them with Anchorage DLC.

I have mods for both. And only the same character that uses them both. At he same time :D

Let me be more clear. More T-51b not the broken "Indestructible" kind in FO3.

You know, weirdly, I like the magazines.
I've been replaying FO3 this last week and I've found that I miss that temporary 10 pt. boost. It's strange because at first I thought they were silly.

One thing that I wanted and absolutely love in NV is being able to look down the gun sights. Not being able to do that in FO3 is driving me bonkers.

Seems laughable but I asked for rolling warehouse ladders (I did not care if the moved). I don't think they were in FO3 but I could be wrong.
