I'd like to have Earned Perks..

like fallout NV ~ IE .. killing 1000 animals will give you a perk for extra damage to anmals, or running 10 million steps gives you a 5% boost to running speed~ etc..

and a survivor perk tree, and hardcoe mode, and game jam, and a 'Collectors' edition book series (IE find all bug jars, or daedric utentils)

Did somebody say "implanted"!? Sorry, couldn't resist.

I want them to implement save folders. Each character would have their own folder of saves. Kind of like Mass Effect.

Definatley agree with this.. I made the mistake in oblivion of finishing on an auto save then starting a new game which overwrote it..
Career save files please.

-Racial based skill max levels to entice us to try different races rather than doing everything in the first play through. Same skills that each race starts at a higher level should be able to progress to 150 while all other skills top out at 50, or better yet no max level just much slower to level up non racial baced skills.. Seriously how many high elves should be good at being a thief?
- following above, there should be no max skill level, just make it rediculously slow to increase your level past 100.
- harder enemy.. But not stupidly like a bandit that one shots me.. I'm talking about massive trolls and giants two or three times the size that you actually need a companion to take down even on master..

1. Fun.
2. Excitement.
3. Some role-playing elements.

However we're likely see loads of new garbage such as being able to choose what cloths your wife wears and horses who's cocks drop out.

Wow, very open topic here, there are so many things I would like to see implemented.

For starters, I would like to see eating and sleeping to become a required activity, no more bounus for doing them, but penalties should be applied when it doesn't happen. Make it so that when you don't sleep for 24 hours 1/3 of your max stamina is removed, each day you go without sleep another 1/3 will be removed, 3 days without sleep and you max stamina is 0, and you move as if you are over-encumbered. To help with this, make it so we can carry a bedroll, a tent, and other camping supplies. No more coming out of a cave at 1 AM and standing in the dark for hours waiting on the sun, or running to the nearest in in the dark. As far as eating goes, going 24 hours without food and 1/3 of your health is removed, another 24 hours and another 1/3 is gone, 3 days wihout food and you starve to death. Now on this note, eating a carrot, apple, or other unprepared food satisfies the eating requirement, eating a prepared meal, like one of the recipes or some meals available at inns, will give a long-term bonus that lasts for the next 12 hours depending on the meal eaten will depend on what the bonus is, but an example would be a venison steak increases melee damage by 5% for 12 hours, or something of that nature.

Next, I would like to see improvments in the improving my home, I would like some custimization options, such as most houses have room for one of the 2 (except Herjim, which has all 3) an Armory, an Alchemy Lab, and/or Enchanting Labratory. I would like to be able to choose which one of the three I add, so if I wanted instead of having the Alchemy Lab in Breezehome I could have an Armory for my Warrior to store his trophies. In addition to this I would like it is the General Stores sold furniture upgrades so I could get something more comfortable than the straw beds available in some of the houses, this way the houses could even start with minimal furniture and storage, and then you can buy it and add it to the house, helping us spend all that wealth we aquire later in the game.

Related to housing but perhaps seperate, I would like to be able to purchase land outside of the cities in the hold for a build it and design it yourself cottage, stronghold, or whatever, now it could be modular so you pick certain things and add them into the existing buidling, but it can eveolve as you choose over time. I saw that they had developed this during the free week and I would like to see it added, again something to spend our accumlilated wealth on, once we max everything out.

Speaking of the Wealth, I would like to see them implement other ways besides houses and training to help eleviate that, often in Midevil times when a Jarl gave you a title and you purchased lands you would owe him an annual duty on those lands (taxes) so that would be cool if you had to do that, also there is not a stable in any of the houses (and I am not asking for one, exept maybe the build your own cottage) so when you reach a town on horseback you should have to pay rent at the stables for the care of your horse. Additonally, you should be able to buy a horse for your follower, and when staying at an inn or using the carriage service with a follower, the costs should be doubled. Also, I think they should charge by distance that needs to be traveled and not base the cost on whether or not there is a stable at the destination.

So I know that seems like a lot and maybe some of them are not possible, but I actually have more than that, but these are ones that I beleive are possible and would really change the game.

- I would love to see conversations with npc's where my character actually says the line i chose and have the camera flick back and forth between character and npc.. I really don't feel immersed in my character when i don't get to see their face except when i stop and spin the camera around like a knob.. especially after spending a ridiculous amount of time customising my characters face or equipping some really cool gear. It would also be really good in conversation if they physically took their helmet off and are holding it if waring a helm that covers their face (except for nightingale hood and the like).
Seeing my khajiit character bare his teeth and maybe half draw his sword/dagger when intimidating for instance would be awesome.
Might actually make it feel like i am playing as a Khajiit etc and not a couple of hands that swing a sword or throw spells.

- In first person you should be able to see your body, legs, shadow etc and if dual wielding for instance your swords should be in the same position when moving around as they are in third person (even adjusting the sword position would allow me to see more environment on my screen rather than a couple axes).. it is just ridiculous that we still have to play as a floating camera with hands.

- When in third person, items you can interact with should highlight or something indicating you can select it so you don't have to fling the camera halfway into the ceiling to open a chest etc (gives me a fricken headache). maybe even note what is selected at the bottom of the screen.

- Also id like to be able to have a decent house/keep etc as per brglock's post above and have an armoury where i can collect and display every weapon and armour type in the game if i feel the need, maybe even make an achievement out of it.

- Shops should have mannequins displaying armour.

- I totally agree with the post above about the food and sleep too.. i made food in my first play through until i realised that, though it was a cool addition, it was pointless. I think it should be a couple more than three days without food though before you starve.. additionally you should be able to get a table in the tavern and have the bar wench bring over a mug of ale and some food.

- This is a big one for me.. time needs to matter more in the game regarding quests, otherwise what is the point in tracking it.. my current character has been in skyrim for more than a year but the greybeards haven't had anyone track me down and insist that i go and see them while dragons burn everything in sight.. randomly generated thieves quests for instance should have a couple day time limit that matches up with vex's insistence that it is an urgent job. I think there was only a couple quests in oblivion that had a time limit which made sense, but so far nothing in skyrim..

- as with the above note, dragons should become more frequent as time goes on, not as you level up or progress with the main quest.

I think I'm done for now, but I'm sure ill think of more.. i do love this game by the way, i just wish it was more immersing as an rpg.

I'd like climbing back, please. I don't care if the climb brings me to a load screen. I wand climbing. It is fun in Daggerfall, and must be revived!

.

Thanks XOPHOENIX I am glad you like my ideas, and you are right 3 days is too short, that is water... LOL. I had the idea right in my head but not in my fingers, it should be every 3 days without food lose 1/3 health and 1/3 each additional 3 days, thus starving at 9 days... sorry about the misprint. I also would love to see many of your ideas listed added to the game as well, I really liked the one regarding conversation and seeing that in 3rd person, especially having your character draw the sword a bit on intimedation requests... that would definatley improve the imersion.

I'd like to see third person camers position adjusted so it is over the shoulder (particularly when zoomed all the way in) like most other third person games rather than around the characters waist (especially altmer).. Cause I can't see past them yet the view is good once weapons are drawn, it is good that it shifts to centre but when weapons are sheathed I don't want to have to zoom out or keep flicking to first person so it should snap to over the shoulder.
By the way I play this on a 55" and third person zoomed all the way in takes up one third of my screen top to bottom, with the top of my characters head just off screen!!! If you're going to do it developers, do it right!

Before release they said that we could make an impact on the local economies (and then it got cut) and altho not many details weren't revealed I would like to see something like that...

A deep economy system would give more of a unique feel to each hold (with local economies) and the possibilities are just endless.

I don't honestly get the idea of Dragon Mounts, I don't get the appeal in Skyrim.

I think something that could be great is an expansion on Smithing, but that is most likely something for the Next Elder Scrolls game. Make your weapons and armor you create unique by combining different pommels, blades and so forth to create truly unique blades. Different pauldrons and so on and so forth. that would differentiate your Steel Sword from standard steel swords in some way.

A third side of the civil war in which you join a powerful group of Khajiit wizards who, using the power of illusion magic, cast a calm spell on all of Tamriel. Within days everyone is jovial again, and all of the people begin buying Balmora Blue from the Khajiit, thus giving Elsweyr the power. Then they shall name a Khajiit "High" King of Skyrim and people will rejoice, for their troubles have ended. Either that or they could bring back spell crafting.

Spear animations. Already have the actual spears thanks to a mod, now Bethesda needs to do their part. While they're at it some mounted charge animations including spears as well.

I haven't seen this said yet, in relation to Co-op. Just take your follower, and replace them with your mate, that's it, simple. No tweaking to the game at all. Just make your mate your follower in the game. There's already asinine amounts of loot anyway. If I had any kind of modding skill, I would have done this myself 10 years ago.
