What features do you want to see implanted in Skyrim?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 11:23 am

I haven't seen this said yet, in relation to Co-op. Just take your follower, and replace them with your mate, that's it, simple. No tweaking to the game at all. Just make your mate your follower in the game. There's already asinine amounts of loot anyway. If I had any kind of modding skill, I would have done this myself 10 years ago.

Yeah, totally. Adding something like co-op to a game this size is as easy as pie. The only reason hundreds of insanely talented modders haven't tried is lack of imagination. Totally.

Hi there illucio. Your week, how's it going?

I'd prefer having kids in general.
Argonia + Khajiit = ...... WTF AM I IMAGINING?

I mean, this is all a matter of personal taste. But adoption, really? If Todd said you could ask for anything, would adoption be your top request? And does adoption fit the Dragonborn lifestyle, a parent increasingly absent and perhaps not the best moral example for the chil to draw inspiration, really?

Well you don't have to be a dike about it, geez. All I'm saying is do nothing to the game, it's fine. Just replace Sven with Steve.

Edit: "I went to Modb, and they've got a mod for both Fallout3 and NV, the mod's not done for Skyrim yet. So if I ever get a computer, I'll be able to enjoy the fallout series with a friend at least!"

They're too busy doing things like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8ol1-dCAOk
and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsu8cnAj1HU&feature=related
and this, one (but this one actually made me laugh for some reason)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpaSSqtBn68&feature=related

I'll take more choices for wizard robes/cloth, and a few more hairstyles for the ladies (notably, the ability to have hair past shoulder length)

The big snake-like Argonian race type.

Of course I can give the full list , but it will explode the server of these forums.

I want them to implement save folders. Each character would have their own folder of saves. Kind of like Mass Effect.
THIS!!!!!!!!! And it's easy to implement!:D

I don't honestly get the idea of Dragon Mounts, I don't get the appeal in Skyrim.

Me too. Also it has several drawbacks:
TOO FAST travel
LOD problems(for some)
Open Cities or Invisible Walls
Too Easy to Fight(C'mon It's Draaakhon, not a Horsie)

the companion system of fallout nv.
new race like the snow elf or a new one.

Let's say: DRAW.
A SNOW ELF COMPANION!!!! HURR DURR!

Spear animations. Already have the actual spears thanks to a mod, now Bethesda needs to do their part. While they're at it some mounted charge animations including spears as well.

+ POLEARMS SKILL TREE (1h - Spears, 2h- Halberds) + Mounted Enemies:D

1. Cliffracers added to the game. ( :obliviongate: )

2. High Grade Imperial Legion Gear(High level Thalmer use Glass and the Legion is supposed to be equal with them)

3. Spell Crafting

4. Powerfull Actifact( Actifacts should not be outdone with by normal crafting)

1. NO. Just don't.
2.Legion is not so great, Thalmor are elite, their soldiers use magic, bla bla, elven supremacy and they have better aror due to having greater funds.
3. I say: Why not?! But I want new(brand-new and alchemy) effects.
4.Artifacts can also be "upgraded" so...

1: Cliffracers must come back, why not add more thing from Morrowind.
2: I still think the Legion should have much better gear and be equal with the Thalmer, Give them Ebony as standard once Thalmer start using Glass.
3: More spell are good too.
4: You can't upgrade actifact as well as you can normal weapons, weapon like Dawnbreaker do less dmg than normal ebony weapons.

1. class systems like in morrowind

2. a fame and imfamy counter like in oblivion so as you can make a characters reputation unique

3. more variety in conjuration spells there are so many types of daedra and we have so few to summon

4. follower parties like in dragon age origins with a full tactics menu (if theres a mod for this link me to it)

that would be so amazing and but to do that they would have to pick one plane of oblivion or they would have to design all 16 planes of oblivion and you would be trespassing on the daedra territory so that could almost make a whole game

(Great ideas)

Ok these are great ideas but a little over the top. I can guarantee the eating improvement will never be implemented because it makes the game a pain to play. This is like the weapon repair feature in oblivion. It was cut because it slowed down gameplay and was a pain in the neck to have to do. Your food system would be of the same effect but much worse. It would only cause gameplay to be even slower than it already is.

As for your tax system... it's sounds realistic but, when you use the same medieval logic it still doesn't make much sense. As thane and protector(higher-up) of the hold(kingdom) you live in you wouldn't normally have to pay taxes. That typically fell on the commoners and citizens shoulders... Perhaps purchasing property just outside the local hold (ecluding remote areas) should require you to pay taxes.

I agree with everything else you've said though.

I'm not trying to attack you of course. Just putting your suggestions in perspective.

A bank where you could create a deposit account and gain interest on it or get a morgage or buy shares in shops and gain equity from it.
Or a area where you could lease to npcs where they could make a house or shop for themselves and pay rent.
or that instead of just buying houses you could rent them so as you dont have to invest so much in property

The ability to turn followers into vampires and random townspeople, it would be funny to see them a couple days later in a big fight against the town guard.

Vampire Lydia would be epic.

I want some ability/spell to revive followers after they got killed in action. I think they can make some short time limit for reviving them successfully, so that it won't sounds too unreal.

Maybe only if you were a Master of Conjuration or had the Scroll. Can you imagine the look on Boethia's face if you did that to your follower in her quest?

Ability to continue serving your Daedric Prince of choice after completing their quest. BAM, 16 more role-play options, like serving Meridia and being a paladin-like character or even serving Mephala and assassinating targets assigned by her whispers.

Food is not worthless in this game. Stamina food is overpowered, one bit of stamina food will give you a power attack, meaning you feasibly just have to keep taking a bite in between attacks for infinite stamina in a tactical sense.

Different fighting styles for each race. For example, Bosmer are said to be able to draw an arrow and fire in one single motion, but I don't see any of that in the game. The same thing for Redguards, masters of swordfighting, but swing a sword the same way a High Elf would. A race-specific perk tree like the other guy said would be good

I want a marriage/family overhaul. More marriage options, maybe choose a wedding location, as well as adoption. Also making an invite list. That's what I'd love.
