I can understain Wars in Skyrim author, i have got same problem with my mod "Skyrim Live" ,i have received insults against my self and too much crying children : your mod killed blacksmith's wife, she was my sweetheart ; with your mod i have crashes with ultra hight setting on my commodore 64 ; your mod is not realistic cause your npc don't have a wife ,a house, don't eat and they don't need a WC; and similar phrases.
Many times i wanted to pick up my mod , and i don't know if i will do it in future , and Wars in Skyrim author has my understanding.
The "problem" is that a lot of players simply don't understand that adding a mod to a game is their own risk. I run 70 odd mods now including Skyrim Live, I also had Wars in Skyrim a time but I removed it as I didn't like the way the mod was turning out and I had other mods I rather would use that potentially confilcted with it. It's part of modding the game that really rests on the player's shoulders. We are free to choose which mods to use and which not to use, but some ungrateful retards don't understand that. For them, it is perfectly ok to attack and harass the creator of a mod if they feel the mod isn't exactly like they imagined. Internet is a good thing, but it also brings out the worst in humans, as long as we can stay anonymous some people thinks it is perfectly fine to act like a immature idiot.
When it comes to Skyrim Live I really hope you keep it up as it is one of the mods I rather quite enjoy these days. My gaming time is limited due to well after 340 hours the game lost it freshness, but I still fire it up and play every now and then and Skyrim Live really does add a feeling that the game is alive. Started an Orc warrior the other day and it was fun to see imperial soldiers fighting it out with forsworn, bandits attacking settlements etc. So don't loose faith, I'm certain there is a bunch of people who appreciates the mod you made and that you hopefully will continue to improve.
