What level did you start killing Giants? : V - Skyrim

I think I was under lvl 10 when I took out my first giant. One was chasing me until I took refuge just inside the doorway of a tower, which the giant couldn't enter. It took me probably 20 arrows though.

I think i was level 8 or 9. I used a war axe and a shield.
The giant diid not have full health, however. He had about 30% of his health left, due to a dragon and Lydia (RIP girl, i killed that giant for you). It was a very tough fight b/c all he did was club near me and i would become dizzy alot, but i managed to kill him. It was pretty epic.

Not until late, and that was only when I was given a radiant quest to do so. That one was a bit of a challenge, but only because as soon as I unleashed my attack, a dragon and two frost trolls appeared.

My current chap (bosmer assassin) spent the majority of levels 5-30 in the rift, so I didn't see them untill after 30. Then I was taking giants down in 2 sneak arrows.

Edit: does anyone know if animal allegiance works on giants?

It doesn't work on the giants themselves, but it will work on their mammoths if you aggro the giant first.

I don't remember the first level I killed one at, but I sure do remember my first flight in to space after one hit me! It was so fun, I restored and did it again.

If you can avoid their attacks, they are easy to kill.

Just have to watch out for that Club. It deals the most base damage of any weapon in the game.
