He reminds me of this guy I knew. I had dated a girl he was really interested in (we broke up but were still friends), but she had no interest in him at all. He wouldn't talk to me directly at all, and followed her around the convention floor the entire time (a group of us were at an anime convention) like some kind of puppydog.

You know the first time I heard that, I just assumed that she was talking about rumors she'd heard

about some Companions being werewolves, and mentioned Aela and Skjor because they are the ones who like being werewolves, and would probably go out hunting together and so would be the most likely targets of the rumors. I heard it again this week though and suddenly the ol' light bulb went on over my head. Now when I hear it I think that the fact that the two of them disappear at night to go hunting is making people suspect that they're having an affair instead.
